I think Sparky is wrong, but a man must do what a man must do. I can’t really speak to his interactions on the site, but on zoom, we do bust his b~~~~ a bit. But to the same token, we all bust each others b~~~~. It helps lighten the atmosphere and helps us have a little fun. But if Sparky feels alienated for some reason, I can understand that. Perhaps Sparky, rather than walk away if there’s an issue with fellow men on here, talk it out. Resolve it, then move on.

Alcohol is a depressant. If you are reliant on it and f~~~ing can’t stop doing it everyday, you’re in a pickle. It will get worse.

If you continue to drink without restraint, you will either end up dead, in an institution (as in mental institution) or you will be in jail. Sooner or later, one of those three or all three.

I have faced down all three and have nearly died of self inflicted throat slashings while intoxicated. I did not wake up for days, nearly bled out. While bleeding out, I was tazzed by medics for resiting their care. They locked me to gurney, put me under and sowed my neck back together. You will f~~~ing die of alcoholism!

If you are able to, and I say this with the utmost grave concern, STOP F~~~ING DRINKING. You cant handle it and neither could I. You will f~~~ing die. The reason you don’t care is because you’re drunk all the time. If you were sober for one week, YOU WOULD CHERISH LIFE AND WANT TO LIVE.

There is only one way out of a downward spiral like this. HIT BOTTOM. Stop artificially singing the woes and self harming. Just forget about everything and go full on drinking without restraint. Don’t even worry about your dog, it will be fine, (don’t hurt the dog). It will be adopted after you’re dead (if you die).

You can survive this. Either continue on to the bitter end, or f~~~ing get sober. That is the issue I guarantee it.

Sparky, I have to agree with some of the guys that SOME of your post can be a bit passive aggressive. However, I also feel you just need some help brother. You need to get out of your head because you are only hurting yourself. You need to get a part time seasonal job (not hard to do right now) that you can work till Jan 5th, and it may only pay min wage, but you are doing it just to get out. Then continue to come on here and you’ll be fine. But getting angry and shutting yourself off from us will do you no good. Cut it out! And if you need someone to talk to you can PM me or the many other guys on here that have told you the same thing.
