The Ben Affleck character has rights violated in so many ways.
I just finished reading Wikipedia’s plot summary of the movie Gone Girl https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gone_Girl_%28film%29
If I were looking for a reason not to marry (or even let a woman stay at my place for “a few days”), then the events in this movie provide it. Let’s look:
1. She frames her husband for her murder and goes into hiding.
2. She murders the man who is hiding and protecting her.
3. She coerces her husband into not divorcing her by spermjacking him and getting pregnant.I happen to like the “got away with murder” sub-genre of movies. (Think Godfather and Mr. Ripley, for two examples.) What bothers me is all the feminist approval. There is a strong undercurrent of “she done a good thing” in that gang.
This should go without saying, but I am saying it anyway: I would be a fool to pump any of my money or time into watching this movie.
Outside of his minor role in Dazed and Confused, I can’t say Affleck has ever played a role I would want to watch.
The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.Just saw this movie on HBO. It’s great that we are starting to get Media awareness of the issues.
For me the best part was where Tommy described how Amy framed him for rape so easily.
This is a huge way in which Men’s Rights are being portrayed in the media. The change is coming slowly,
but the sheeple are starting to get the message.
Nice, I think Ill watch it, I like David Fincher movies
-----------
That was a sick, bloody movie. There was one scene that made me laugh, though: when Amy called her neighbor an idiot.
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
