Here is a good metal band with a female vocalist.

Funny story about In This Moment (Not a fan myself) I saw them at a mayhem festival once and the next band to play was Shadows Fall and during in this moment’s last song everyone was just chanting Shadows Fall because they wanted real metal. It was harsh but awesome.

I’m not even sure you guys know the depths of women’s choice in music. Anyone ever heard of Jeffree Star? He got famous from Myspace like 10 years ago or something.

Yeah my ex-fiance liked “his” s~~~..

    Apologies..

BTW she’s the one who “loves” Blind Melon now.. SMH

Also, Arch Enemy are probably the best when it comes to female vocals in metal by my opinion. You got Otep, Lacuna Coil, Kittie and lots of others but they suck and are nothing compared to Arch Enemy. What makes Arch Enemy is so great though is not the vocals alone, I mean they are passable but it’s the guitar and drums that are awesome and the style is just straight metal.

I will say the best female vocalist of all time in any genre was Karen Carpenter. Hands down.

here’s a little something to help you through your pop music rage.

I too hear this bulls~~~ music, and want to shut it all off.

Still good after all this time.

I do that song all the time at bars. That’s the best Boston song there is.

Check out this kid’s cover. He’s great. He did the entire song as a one man band. Only using singers for his video. He played all the instruments himself.
