“Alex Lovell says he awoke, nearly in a dream state, to his girlfriend of two years striking him in the side of the head with the blunt end of a samurai sword. His survival instincts kicked in, he said, and he was ready: “She woke the dragon.”

“Everything happened so fast,” Lovell wrote Tuesday afternoon in a Facebook message to The Columbian, his first interview with the media since the attack. “I’ve been piecing everything together laying here in this hospital bed for the past week.”

The 29-year-old Camas man suffered extensive injuries, particularly to his limbs, as he tried to fight off his alleged attacker, Emily Javier, 30.

Court records say Javier told investigators she slashed Lovell with the sword, after finding the Tinder dating app on his cellphone and believing he was cheating on her.

She hid his cellphone so he couldn’t call for help and then attacked him in his sleep March 3 at their shared home, 2013 N.E. Garfield St., in Camas. Javier called 911 about 1:54 a.m. after she believed Lovell was dead, a probable cause affidavit states.

Responding officers found Lovell lying in the couple’s bedroom suffering multiple life-threatening lacerations. He remains hospitalized but is recovering.”

The fact that she attacked him when she found the Tinder app existing on his mobile phone is more of a reflection of her behaviour/thinking than of his, i.e. the existence of the dating app on his mobile phone is a presumption of his infidelity towards her, whether or not he actually uses that app and/or whether or not they are actually in a committed relationship. Equally, then, does she have the same app on her mobile phone? Hence, can dating apps only be used by women now? Why did she feel the need to check his mobile phone in the first place? It clearly shows how the trust has gone from modern relationships. As horrid as this crime is, since it is a crime and she should get some jail time for it (but, knowing how gyno-centric the modern legal system is, she will probably get a Pussy Pass), it is a wake-up call for him, which if he has any resemblance of a brain, he should bear in mind for the future, and if he has any sense (he doesn’t sound particularly bright, to be honest), he will just avoid these toxic modern women altogether. There are enough stories to show that she is not the only crazy woman out there and that women are generally becoming increasingly more mentally ill/un-stable (in varying forms and to varying degrees). It just goes to show, you never know what these toxic modern women will do next, you cannot ultimately trust them, and they are ultimately not fit for a relationship.

Now I think I’ve seen it all. Notice how men typically wouldn’t think of attacking a woman in her sleep, yet women attack men in their sleep all the time? I knew a guy who actually was cheating, and she found out after she used the facial recognition on his phone to unlock it (while he was sleeping), found the numbers, and went and shaved his head.

It´s typical of feemales doing things behind someone´s back, but what surprises me the most is the samurai sword. Where the f~~~ did she find a samurai sword? Considering that also a dull kitchen knife could be wielded with lethal results, her particular choice of the weapon in my opinion accounts for a premeditated attack.
