Ok this is not about the content of the movie. We all know its a slimer. <— Pun intended.

The hypocrisy I am talking about is all the feminists and SJW’s screaming that if you don’t go see this you are a misogynist scum. Well the movie is out and the weekend take is about 45 million. Oh and due to the subject matter the chinese government has banned it. So they won’t get any money from the second largest market. So the 154 million went down the drain. Toys are already on the clearance shelf.
So where were all the millions of feminists and SWJ’s? Why were they not at the theaters?

    Pathetic hypocrites.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

I heard in the last scene they blow the final boss’s dick off…

Now, I personally haven’t paid to see a movie in the theatre other than Lord of the Rings stuff, in about 10 years.

Why? Because I am tired of the ever increasing amount of dick images and dick jokes since around 2k. I have yet to see a single vagina in a movie. If the tables were turned, women would have turned their backs on it all years ago…

The hypocrisy of women and left wing media knows no bounds.

Isn’t 45 millions a good revenue? Judging by the number of dislikes in the official trailer I would have expected a far lower result.

It could be a watching a trainwreck situation. People when to see the movie just to see how bad the film is. Like watching a trainwreck. You cannot take your eyes off of it. Now, word of mouth will take care of the rest.

Sony spent a $100 million alone on advertising. They need around $400 million to breakeven. Unless this movie has legs and continues to sell tickets, this film is dead in the water.

Me too. If I want to see it bad enough, it will turn up on some form of at home media soon enough. If.

Oh ok then. I’m doubtful because I hope it’ll send a clear enough message to Hollywood that it has gone too far with feminism and sj.

I refuse to watch things that make me angry, just the very premis of this movie esp the ending is enough to turn me off just like most other modern TV/movies.

Yea, I took it even a step further, basically divesting from Hollywood. I will not buy a new dvd/blueray unless I know who produced it and what the content is, and this happens almost never. I do buy second hand dvds at thrift stores, this way I am helping out a charity usually or a mom and pop store without my money funding Hollywood.

You would think this would be coming from a religious conservative type of person, but no, that is not me. I do it because I do not like to pay for my propaganda that is controlled by one small group of people who share nothing in common with my Libertarian views. That and the feminist bulls~~~ is astounding in all of this left wing bulls~~~. Then there is the pro-Israel propaganda, (World War Z is a great example aka World War Zionist) and topics that are 100% off limits like Palestine and how Israel was created.

Well the movie is out and the weekend take is about 45 million.

Sony put out an enormous number of free movie tickets for this thing. I’ve seen them on cereal boxes, cookie boxes, potato chip bags, I got one with the 4k bluray of Ghostbusters (the real one) I bought at Costco for $19. I have never seen so many free tickets given out for a movie before. Funny how they never give out free tickets for movies I actually want to see.

People using those free tickets count towards the initial ticket sales, because all they’re counting there are butts in seats, but actually represent a loss for Sony, not a profit, because Sony has to reimburse the theaters for every one used. I suspect Sony will have to reimburse a lot of theaters for this one.

Now how many people who saw this film on a free ticket are going to go back and spend their own money to see it a second time? Not many, I think.

Of course no mater how badly this film does in the theaters, they will still call it a success.

So where were all the millions of feminists and SWJ’s? Why were they not at the theaters?

I think they probably were. I honestly don’t believe there are really all that many of them. They are just very very noisy and extremely litigious.

So, opening weekend might actually cost Sony up to $45 million.

Though, to see how Sony spins that will be interesting.

I usually trust a movie’s IMDb score when making up my mind to see a movie I’ve never heard of. Ghostbusters scored 5.0 with thirty-thousand votes. That is disastrously low.

The critics who submit to Rotten Tomatoes gave it a very high score of 73% good reviews. By contrast, the ordinary viewers who submit to the same site gave it 56% “liked it.” Disastrously low once again.

Final answer: The public at large does not like it for whatever reasons. This flick is a flop.

I think some shenanigans are going on with Rotten Tomatoes, they seem to have scores much higher on many mainstream things than I would think they would deserve far to often. Just looked it up, Rotten Tomatoes is owned by…Fandango Media Time Warner/Warner Bros. (30%) Comcast/NBCUniversal (70%)

    So yea, left wing establishment…

It’s nice to see them financially bleed.
    Boycott sony.

even some women i work around said they shouldn’t have remade ghostbusters..
how about creating a NEW movie instead..?
there is no shortage of creativity..
only it has to come from P.C. creators…
the S.J.W.’s and Femtards aren’t very good at being original..
    i don’t give a rat’s ass about this movie..

This movie made $45 million domestically and $19 million oversees the weekend. This film got beaten out of first place for The Secret Life of Pets.

This movie isn’t gonna make its money back. Looks like it’s going to be a flop.

sony is going to cook the books and society is going to believe them.

You’ll know if it’s a flop if they don’t make a sequel. People have short memories and this ‘film’ (I use the term very loosely) will be forgotten about in 6 months time.

While on the subject of Ghostc~~~ers, I’d like to nominate Chris Hemsworth for mangina of the year, not just for this abortion, but also those awful Thor movies were he spends most of his time pining over a disinterested one night stand and other simpimg behaviour.
