I’ve been thinking about my place in the workforce and comparing it to some of my friends.  Most of my male friends either work in the trades, in the banks or like myself working in retail.

Then I look at my female friends and most of the attractive ones are modelling. There isn’t a day on facebook where I don’t see them posting a pic of them scantily clothed and with nothing barely on and that got me thinking how lucky they were to be in that position although I’m sure some feminists would argue the exploitation of them.

Lucky because they were doing something that they enjoyed with very little effort and the positive attention that they got for doing so. Men telling them how beautiful they were and Women reminding them of their empowerment. I’m not knocking their career choices and all the power to them but it bothers me and I wanted to share my feelings with my fellow Mgtow brethren.

It bothers me because as a male we not only struggle to get where we are but also struggle to find that place. To see men’s only value as being tools bothers me. It bothers me seeing men not doing what they really want and instead being worn down by the system.

LunaticReason: you should be bothered by that s~~~ man. the system is totally f~~~ed. for MEN: pay the rent, pay the car, maintain themselves, go to work, save money for future, spend time working to get a better job while working a s~~~ty one, keep paying taxes. for WOMEN: look cute and take some dick once in awhile and someone else pays for everything. Don’t you wish you had been born with a vagina? the whole thing is completely backwards. the only justice for these women is that they have a short window  18-23 in modeling and then its over VERY quickly to make room for the newer younger ones. as they hit 25 and move towards 30 they get more and more desperate and will hit the wall of desperation. in a few years, you’ll be very glad to have not put up with their s~~~. or, tag a few while they are still hot and riding the c~~~ carousel. up to you…..

    ListenUp:

Then, by 35, their looks begin to visibly fade.  What happens after that is largely a matter of genetics and luck.  Some women look good well into middle age (e. g., Sandra Bullock).  Others quickly fall apart when they enter their 40s.

    Agreeing w Listenup here…
The reason women all want to be models is that they don’t have any concept of long term. If they look good, they assume that will last forever. They see themselves getting things for free with no effort and think they are going to retire from this line of work someday…(?) This is been one of the things about really beautiful women that I’ve sort of had a dark fascination with over the years. How can they be that stupid… to think this is going to last forever. Ask anyone of them about heir 10-20 year plan and you get a blank stare.

I still think it’s better to be a man. Women survive on their looks. Men survive on performance. Looks are temporary, and their disappearance is beyond anyone’s control. I think Katherine Hepburn was the speaker of this quote: “Everyone dies, but every beautiful woman dies twice…” referring to a once beautiful woman having to say good bye to the life that she had when her looks fade and that life ends. When that happens, what is their backup plan? The best they can hope for is that just about the time their looks start to fade, they’ll find someone to marry with enough resources to last them the rest of their lives. How many men have resources like that…? And how many of those men are out there looking for a washed up has-been former model to give them to…? I don’t know that number. But I know it decreases all the time.

There may actually be a few of those men left, but not nearly enough for all the women who put themselves in that situation. What happens to the leftovers? There are lots of those former model types now in their forties wandering around in Navy docks and truck stop parking lots trying to pay the rent with what’s left of their looks… Nobody’s telling them how empowered they are anymore…

I’d rather survive on my education, effort, discipline and skills. Not only are they more permanent, but I have control over them and can increase them over time with my own efforts. You want to get blown by one of these hot model women for less than the cost of a steak dinner date?… Wait about 15-20 years and then show up on the pier with 40$ when the fleet comes in…

In the interim, keep working and investing your efforts and money in YOURSELF.

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

    Thumbs up, BP!

While I was teaching, our last department secretary was like the women you described.  When she was in her early to mid-20s, she was a stunning slender and petite blonde.  Our department head didn’t hesitate to bring her along to meetings he had with his fellow DHs.  (Three guesses as to why……)  She also had a lot of the male students salivating which, I’m sure, she didn’t mind.

She was, however, obsessed with her looks.  She went to the institution’s gym 3 (count ’em–3!) times a day.  After she reached here late 20s or early 30s, her attitude sort of changed.  I think it finally occurred to her that, soon, she would have to rely more on her secretarial skills to get by.  She may have already felt that men might consider passing her over in favour of someone younger when it came to dates.  In fact, she gradually began referring to herself as a “cougar”, indicating that she knew what was coming.
