If this info is available I apologize, I did look but did not find it.

What does it mean to ‘follow’ someone on the forums or have someone ‘follow’ you?

I have followed and have been followed but I didn’t notice anything different.

Is it like the c~~~s punted feature, you know braggin’ rights?

Following someone adds their avatar to your following list, that way even without their presence you can access their material by clicking on their avatar. It provides you a link to that persons writings or if you want to contact them, it also tells who’s the assholes because as you know, birds of a feather flock together.

just kidding about the last part no matter how true it is…

How is your exercise program coming along, Grue? I believe you had started doing martial arts if I am not mistaken.

Good question! We offer some extra privacy settings, and “following” doesn’t mean what it means on twitter (for example). Replace the word follow with “allow” or “connect”. It basically means you allow someone to view your profile and forums activity.

Ghost and Galt members can make their profile invisible and restrict viewing. In your settings, you can also say “only people I follow can view my profile”.….. or “only people I follow can PM me”.

It allows you you control your visibility.

TOP RIGHT MENU > SETTINGS > PRIVACY

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I returned to MA training. I took about a 9 year break.
It is going ok. Bruises and sore muscles.

I am still losing weight a bit at a time.
I am not trying to lose weight. It is just a side effect.

As we all know trying to lose weight never works out in the long term.

    Thx for asking.
