Some minor spoilers for the Jurassic World movie, but a few things stood out for me watching the men and women in that film. F~~~ing feminists are irritated by “traditional female roles in Jurassic World?” How about the crappy portrayals of men in that movie?
Aside from being a film where the main point was apparently to have CGI dinosaurs fighting other CGI dinosaurs so we could root for our favorite, I noted the male characters were throwaways lumped into gender roles as follows (sorry for not knowing the character names).
Alpha Male – (Chris Pratt) is a desireable male, he fixes bikes, rides bikes, has muscles and tames dinosaurs. They even call him an alpha male, because, well. So we’re supposed to believe this guy wants to hook up with an older woman who is like a 5/10 at best?
Beta Male – Computer programmer guy who tries to point out the moral fallacies in the story. He’s painted as undesireable, he’s sloppy, nerdy and although he’s right on a number of points nobody listens to him. He’s also directly insulted about his manhood by a woman in the film when he questions her rash (and probably very stupid) decision to release the T-Rex to fight another rogue dinosaur.
Throwaway Male – Rember the dad of the “smart dinosaur kid”? Probably not, he was a total throwaway character, but he stood out for me, becasue he made a comment as the kids were leaving fo dinosaur vacaiton with their aunt. The wife rolled her eyes and said why do you always say stuff like that. He had no role other than being painted as the probable cause of the parent’s impending divorce…which they make a point of talking about in the movie.
Teenage boy – Girl obsessed, pretty dumb, no role other than to protect “smart dinosaur kid” really. Oh and suggests divorce is a good thing because you get two of everything (two birthdays, two christmases, etc…).
So by the end of the film the family is re-united. I presume their impending divorce is off the table now that the kids are unharmed, even though they presumably sent the kids there so they could finalize thier divorce? Not sure why the plot even had to include that point. Unless now divorce is such a commonplace ocurrance that it now drives crappy movie subplots.
But yes, only feminists need be angry about this movie, it’s totally ok to lump the male cast into traditional gender roles.
I’ve never seen such crap pretending to be a Jurassic whatever. 45 mins wasted on the kids, 20mins wasted on female bulls~~~, 30mins on science falsely explained and the rest on some collateral damage.
More than 2000 people on that island and the supposedly terrifyingly smart dinos that can color-morph to the ambient environment and WHAT? No dino feast? No crunches between teeth or a flattened body under tons of beast?
What, the writers were on strike that month?

#GenderSegragationNow!But hey, at least the movie had that epic “margarita-moment” when the pterosaurs attacked (btw this link is not the real scene, just a 9gag-gif crediting it) http://9gag.com/gag/aZNb8P0/the-best-part-in-jurassic-world
This is the MGTOW of the movie, thinking “f~~~ the others, I’m gonna save my margaritas” 😀
Donno if you even recognized because this scene is really really short….I for one just saw it on the second view.
I haven’t seen the movie, but based on the fact that the rest of society praises it, I assume its not worth seeing.
I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.

I saw it because the actor did an AMA on Reddit.
Again, though while funny it was still at the expense of another negative male stereotype, “F~~~ the women and children, I’m saving my drinks”.

The plot and characters were inconsequential. The whole point of the movie was so they could stage scenes where CGI dinosaurs fight other CGI dinosaurs. I guess my point is every male in the movie, other than Pratt embraced some negative male stereotype, but the women were generally “awesome”
Noteable, the comment between the sisters, where the mom says “when are you having kids, they’re worth it” even though she knows she had an impending divorce. Fart out some kids so you can secure your position in a divorce, it’s the american way!

It’s certainly not great.
One ridiculous thing that stood out was the main female protagonist was full-sprint running in high heels for a lot of the movie, then all of a sudden morphs into a tough as nails alpha female who isn’t afraid to stare down a charging T-Rex.

The whole movie is a farce. Look a the Engen guys, they showed up all big and bad for… they didn’t even do anything.
And yep, Hollywood has been on the forefront of thaGirlpower nonsense. It’s widely documented that for strong males to make it in that industry they have to eventually dress like weemins and be made fun of. I’ll leave rest to your imagination.

#GenderSegragationNow!I’ll wait for the DVD and then not watch it anyway.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
I wanted everybody to die except Owen.
Fuck this planet.I haven’t seen the movie, but based on the fact that the rest of society praises it, I assume its not worth seeing.

Good point.
I talked about this on YouTube. Picture your average female ‘career’ woman. Then take her away from a climate controlled office, Starbucks, spas, fancy parties and all that other hoidy toidy s~~~ they like. They’d last 5 minutes, tops. But I’m supposed to believe this stuck up c~~~ can outrun a T-Rex in heels and survive in all that heat, humidity, bugs, killer dinosaurs and even know how to fire a weapon despite the fact she probably never touched one?
Please.
F~~~ you Hollywood.
Fuck this planet. From your description it sounds like they just reused the plot of Jurassic Park 3…I remember it had an divorced or seperated couple in it who re-united at the end. But first the man had to risk his life to save the woman from an angry Spinosaurus. And he was portrayed as being kind of desperate to get back together.
I think all movies now are strongly gynocentric…they always portray men as stupid or sex-obsessed and red-pilled men are always the villains…Thats why I don’t watch movies anymore. Oh yeah and females are always heroic and awesome, and perfect in every way.

He should’ve let the dinosaur eat her, THAT’s entertainment.

#GenderSegragationNow!Right, usually it’s not worth watching. Logic fails here, stereotypes there, cheap story, no surprises. This movie just lives from the effects (dinosaurs) and the action. But I knew someone who dl’d it so I watched it with him twice (not on the same day though ^^). But it was not as bad as I expected, even if it was cheap. At least you can make it through the whole movie without committing ritual suicide compared to watching some other movies (Good example in my case was “World War Z”…that was total crap, couldn’t make it through the whole movie especially as a fan of the zombie-genre I felt like my favourite genre got raped right in front of my eyes)
I wanted everybody to die except Owen.
I was rooting for the computer nerd character to Go His Own Way. When he got the “I have a boyfriend” spiel he soooo should have just said, “F~~~ it,” walked over to the console, released ALL the dinosaurs, and strolled to the escape helicopter LIKE A BOSS.
Instead we have Hollywood propaganda pushing a ünter-male who, upon his moment to be a hero, gets smacked down for his troubles and then STILL sacrifices himself to be a good little utility. F~~~ that.
The rest of the film was just same-old same-old CGI velociraptorbation. Seen it all before.

This.
and pretty much, thank you, again, for ruining my awesome childhood movie.
Never seen like that in previous jurassic park.
Feminist, ruin everything.

Agreed.
The 1st and 2nd is the best because there is no feminist bulls~~~ propaganda.

The nerd is type of blue pillers and he potrayed as slaves here.
Cant get over the past, “ooh i have a boyfriend”, etc
Also the scene where the female told him to open the cage and told to man up.
Pathetic.
