the original 1-3 GOW games are three of my favourites. Blood, violence, big guns, massive guys, set pieces – gaming heaven (and who can forget the Dom’s wife scene in 2)

4 started introducing more female characters (you know the “kickazz” types) but overall was boring anyway. It seems 5 is going full throttle with the Rey from Nu Star Wars crap and it is another game I remove from my list of games to buy

Western developers have been fully infected by the SJW cancer at this point

Gears is my favorite game on Xbox.

I hate playing as female characters. I’m still enjoying gears 4, and as you stated, it was mildly PC, but this one takes the cake.

I don’t have anything against female characters when they FIT INTO THE STORYTELLING ! Like for example Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, where there is a context to put a c~~~ there. Put vaginas there just for the sake of vaginas, is pure bulls~~~.

GOW is a nice game, I didn’t played all the titles but I really enjoyed playing the judgment one. Sad to see that this franchise is being ruined too.

I didn’t mind a female protagonist in the Elder Scrolls games or even Horizon : Zero Dawn. In the case of Horizon (spoilers), Aloy is a clone created by Gaia to stop the Hades subroutine, so I can suspend a lot of disbelief about her athleticism because genetic engineering is a thing and the sparse story doesn’t dwell on or drone on about Aloy being a female. It doesn’t matter. The gameplay is fun, even if the story is milquetoast.

But all these badass action games that formerly had big dudes with bigger guns splattering blood on my screen for my own gladiatorial satiation? These massive displays of unchained violence? Yeah, I can’t see a woman doing any of it. In Horizon, Aloy was just shooting bows at robot dinosaurs. She wasn’t taking a chainsaw to a giant alien grunt and pushing it through.

I liked Gears 1 and 2. Sad that it had to come to this. I wish developers would focus on making a product that is fun and that their base wants to buy, instead of virtue signalling for people who not only don’t play the game, but won’t even rent it or pay to watch someone stream it.

Japan has been utterly destroyed by feminism and female empowerment, but they manage to have zero f~~~s to give in entertainment and I respect that. I wish the West would get on that train. Stop pandering to people that aren’t your audience.

I didn’t play the last wolfenstein because I don’t have a computer that can run it, and the trailer just made me puke. A fat white c~~~ being f~~~ed by tyrone, a c~~~ breastfeeding and all that s~~~. Those games are supposed to be just run & shoot everything that look like an enemy, just like good old MS DOS days. Like the old Duke Nuken, Doom, Quake, there is a story behind but, you are presented just to blood and adrenaline from the very first moment until the end of the game.

I get so p~~~ed off, we have so much potential for good games, we have improved a lot the graphics, improved a lot the hardware (screens, keyboard, joystickts, etc..), but every year the games only get worse… Shallow storyline, SJW bulls~~~, thousands of microtransactions…

I hope the next Elder Scrolls don’t f~~~ it up.

And the sad part is the SJWs are messing up the Tomb Raider franchise. The Tomb Raider franchise had a simple, but great formula. That formula being guns, T&A, and adventure.

Those overseeing the new Tomb Raiders games and new Tomb Raider film removed the first two and the adventure only goes so far until it feels flat.

Lara Croft is my third favorite fictional action woman whom dual wield pistols. My first two are Roberta and Revy from the Black Lagoon series. But, Lara Croft is a close third.

The GoW4 even went so far as to point out this new girl will likely turn on her allies. And most of us realized this twenty seconds into the preview, before that scene was shown.

I do not have much faith in American entertainment. The only new American games I am looking forward to are Ship of Heroes and Valiance, which ever game gets its act together. I might end up playing both.

But, the big game I am looking forward to is Cyberpunk 2077.

I used to really like Tomb Raider, but I didn’t play any of the new games, the last one I played was the fourth game. The exploration and “wow” factor when you get into some really nice places were excellent, considering the graphics back then. I understand you brother, I don’t play that much, but I’m kind of disappointed with everything nowadays, movies, tv shows, games, books… Is hard to something really good and meaningful to be released. Most games are just a copy&pasta of other games that try to find a way to get a lot of players to play online so they can sell them things.

I wasn’t keen on the first game in the Deus Ex franchise (can’t remember its name) but I loved the second one Mankind Divided – played that game to death doing all the side missions although it had the usual cop out sequel bait ending which is f~~~ing s~~~

and if Cyberpunk is only half as good as The Witcher 3 then it will be a classic – Witcher 3 is one of the best games ever made

Finished off 2 earlier and have started 3. Brilliant game but the cracks are appearing – Jace (sp) is awful and Im sure he is in 4 – f~~~ing terrible character and they make Anya a soldier. She is just a backup character so it is bulls~~~ having her fight.

Still a brilliant game and as a side point the c~~~ who lives in the flat above me keeps putting her TV on full volume when I have tried to be a good neighbour and keep it quiet…an 11pm GOW 3 full blast gaming session is now about to happen – f~~~ her and I hope she enjoys hearing Locus getting chainsawed to death lol
