What is MGTOW’s thoughts on the third-party presidential candidate? I didn’t know this guy, actually. To this day I still really don’t know. The first time I was introduced to this guy was when James Weeks went on stage and stripped his fatass nude on C-Span during the Libertarian Party National Convention. Then he threw one of his friend’s prized guns or something. I think the trouble with him is that being a third-party candidate, he will most likely not win and can say whatever he wants. But that’s just me. What about you guys?
Anonymous42Voting is criminal activity.
Most MGTOW seem to favor disengagement in the political process, I disagree. The way I see it, I get taxed, I might as well vote. Especially on TAX issues that raise my property taxes locally or otherwise erode freedoms (more zoning, more restrictions, etc). They call for slamming the lever down especially hard.
I like Johnson because he favors shrinking the government, and legalizing drugs and prostitution — increased freedoms. In this, he’s decidedly better than the two alternatives.
Of course, he will never be elected, but this year, due to the high negatives of the major party candidates, I suspect he’ll score 10% of the vote like John Anderson in 1980. If he polls at 15%, he’ll be included in the debates. This is a good summary of his views: http://www.ontheissues.org/Gary_Johnson.htm — he vetoed hundreds of bills as Governor of New Mexico, he isn’t afraid to say ‘no’ to more senseless laws.
Voting isn’t always a criminal activity; voting NO on issues that increase the size and scope of government, slows our decline, and maintains those freedoms we still have, a bit longer.
At work a week ago, before a meeting, I made a comment, my colleagues were discussing carding (checking ID’s) for alcohol sales. I said, ‘back when this was a free country, anybody could get a drink, and every saloon had a brothel upstairs for horizontal refreshment.’ They actually didn’t argue my point.
Voting for one of the two major parties — the Statist parties that favor an ever-expanding role of government — doesn’t make much difference — either one wins, and our freedoms are eroded.
I like him. I voted for him in 2012. I’m also a Ron Paul fan. (And no, I don’t believe everything should be privatized.)
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
Voted for him back in 2012.
I voted for Johnson when he ran for NM governor the first time. Did a great job initially. As a lame duck/second term gov he was a nightmare. He tried to rob the state government pension fund similar to what Congress has done to Social Security. Also, tried to legalize weed. My sister lives in Colorado. Just moved to Littleton, CO. She has had it with not being able to take my sister to the park, public areas, etc. because of all the weed smoking. Littleton is conservative and has not legalized the weed. I would never vote for Johnson again. Just my two cents.
He’s an open-borders supporter too, isn’t he?
