Game Developers Conference: The Smell of Entitlement

I want to rant a little after attending GDC this year. This thread will not be for everyone. Only if you are interested in games, game creation, or the insidious nature of female demands will you find anything of interest here. I’ve been drinking, so bear with me…

• Gender Neutral Restrooms: There was one set of restrooms set aside as “gender neutral restrooms”. While I am not opposed to these, I had an instinctual reaction that went roughly “It’s a trap!” I explained this feeling at some point saying if there was any place where a sexual harassment claim was likely, that would be the place. I eventually ended up calling them the “Not Straight White Male Restrooms” because I felt they were set aside to specifically exclude me (though I know of many straight white males that used them without incident). Maybe this is paranoia, but this is how far the red pill has driven me.
• TONS of Women: There were more women at GDC this year than I had seen in previous years. Again, just something I noticed.
• Special Snowflakes: The number of people with colored hair, piercings and tattoos, or ridiculous clothing was staggering. The *VAST* majority were either women or trans/effeminate males. Kind of sad to see the industry continue to spiral into a realm dominated by autistics and cry-bullies.
• Talks on Women: The schedule had a relatively large number of “women in games” and the like sessions. Again, not necessarily bad, but I kind of wish that the conference organizers had been a little more aggressive about asking for more neutral titles. But that would not push the victimhood narrative.
• Activity Feed: The conference organizers built an app that included a Twitter/Facebook style “Activity Feed” where conference attendees could post their thoughts. At one point, a female attendee posted “That panel was good, but would have been better to see more women on the panel”. Some days later, I checked the Activity Feed to see that the *VAST* majority of posters were female. I had to hold my tongue when considering posting “The Activity Feed feature is great! Would be better to see more men posting, though…”. A number of the female attendees dominated the Activity Feed, posting things 30 seconds between their posts, essentially spamming the feed.
• Culture of Fear: Admittedly, this point is *about my feeeeelz*, but I never felt that I could post any of the above on the Activity Feed or any of my own social media for fear of backlash from the games industry. The proximity of GamerGate makes those things sensitive, and push-back from female devs would be enough to tank my chances of building a network as an indie developer. But really, women are excluded and oppressed in the games industry. No, really. :/

There’s another word for gender neutral restroom. It’s called a f~~~ing bathroom. You have a toilet in it, it locks behind and 1 person uses it at a time. lol

Sounds to me like they are there as some kind of Show of Force from the Women Action Media faction .

I really doubt that the majority of the programmers for the most popular games even bother to attend anymore.

Do you really think that the majority of people who spend hours and hours writing video game software are a bunch of feminist twinks with trampstamps,clit piercings,nose piercings and pink hair ?

Do you really think that a majority of the people who put in the blood sweat and tears into creating The Witcher,Bloodborne and Metal Gear Solid V want to rub elbows with people like that ?

Here is whats going on guys.These women and feminists decided a long time ago to infiltrate and take over popular media.

Just to name a few.

These women and feminists are there looking for a fight so they can cry oppression and get sympathy .

I’m a gamer and plan to start voting with my feet in terms of the games I buy. I want to see less men being killed and hurt in video games. And no more rescuing damsel’s in distress either. There needs to be more female villains too.

I think the main publishers are going to get a backlash the same way Hollywood will with stuff like the Ghostbusters movie as men start voting with their feet.

Let’s see how popular the directors are with their shareholders when their companies go to the wall and they have to explain it at a directors meeting that they made stupid business decisions based on under pressure from feminism.

Gender neutral restrooms seem like just the place for false peeping allegations or even rape, I think after seeing how Erin Andrews got millions of dollars in her settlement it will intice a lot of women.

I don’t know if they could spin them not having any meaningful or relevant work to show into you harassing them (what am I saying, I’m SURE they could) but at least you can make a fun afternoon of going “Wow, that’s cool! Hey guys, check this out!” to the real developers and “Oh, clearly you’re not a game developer. So, just here for the tchochkes then? The Bethesda and Marvel booths are at 4-A” to the bulls~~~ters.

I highly recamend that any men with creative ability in programming create stuff independant of MainStream and feminist influence .Because feminist creativity is sorely lacking.

The s~~~ they indipendantly produce will flop.A little bit of their s~~~ in a movie like what happend to Mad Max and Star Wars can squeeze by.But once they go full retard read #FullMcantosh people will say enough is enough and they wont spend their money on it.

After Mad Max and StarWars and now Ghost Busters people will get sick of the SJW propaganda in movies and millions of gamers have had enough of it already in video games.So if you have smarts and skills to write and create video games i strongly suggest you do so.
Network and work with other people who have the same skillsets.Start your own conferences… Because the SJWs will not be able to compete with you.Their ideology stifles their creativity.

Watching these game development companies grovel before SJW’s makes me happy that I no longer have any time left for games.

I’m with C-Pig on this one as well. i used to love video games. Now a days, most are complete s~~~ because SJWs are entering them.

I remember back in the days where games like WoW were just full of niche fan bases and the players who played them were made fun of and painted to be seen as a guy such as this:

I also hate most modern online games not because of the gameplay itself, but because of its strict rules on censorship. You could get flagged/banned/muted for saying certain words like “c~~~.”

That alone makes me not want to play modern video games.
