there is no headquarters
no mailing campaign
no lobbiests
no paid politicians
no printed signs
no stickers

The “Going Their Own Way” part is very important. If one man’s idea of going his own way is to shag whores all week and another man prefers to work on classic cars, or another wants to lift weight, play computer games then it is all right because those men are Going Their Own Way.

I would hate to see MGTOW end up like Feminism where you have some men dictate to other men what is good and what isn’t.

Those of you going “it’s not a movement! it’s not a movement!” Uhh, yes it is. It’s as much a philosophy as it is a movement. What else would you call a collective group of people throwing their hands up in disgust and walking away? A movement, duh! Yes, everyone is living their own lives, but we’re in virtual agreement on almost everything. Having a couple people check out is not a movement. Having probably a million do it is. Esp when it’s premise is based on the rejection of society by and large. That in itself is a movement.

A movement needs a group of people with a general consensus that everybody agrees upon. Going your own way is definitely more of a philosophy and unlike most movements, we cannot be identified in real life unless we are doxxed or we foolishly dox ourselves. As far as the media is concerned, ee are characters on a computer screen hashing it out with the gynocratic elements of societies at large. We are recognizing gynocentrism as the overbearing problem that has grown too large to handle, let alone solve over time and are walking away from it. The MRA is the one still trying to fix things, even if they have the same knowledge of a MGTOW still in the back of their minds. Let society and the media call us what they want. At the end of the day, we know who we are or are already on the path to self-actualization and will not be swayed any longer by the gynocentric elements of our societies.

Definition of movement : group of people working together to advance their shared ideas

MGTOW members don’t “advance” our ideas. Because we don’t have to. Men naturally are attracted to MGTOW.

MGTOW grows through attraction, not promotion

I like to see it as Passive Resistance. It’s not like we are out there marching or anything. We are doing things on our terms.

I guess you could call it a movement but it’s not what most people would think of when thinking about that word.

I had a movement in the toilet and it was fantastic.
MGTOW has been around for ages in one form or another.

I don’t know man, I’ve seen so many MGTOW videos at this point I ignore a lot of them. Unless there’s a good clickbait title.

Check a dictionary definition of what movement is and MGTOW appears to fall into that category.

BUT it doesn’t take much for anything to fall into the category.

Further – if we look at the definition of SOCIAL MOVEMENT it’s defined as a group of diffusely organised people or organisations striving towards a common goal related to human society or social change.

So by that definition each of us have a common goal which is stay the f~~~ away from women.
The methods by which we choose all differ.
Whether that be work hard and gain assets. Sit in Moms basement on computer, head north and homestead or just blend in and be a grey man living an unremarkable but contented existence.

All different but with a common theme.

However – where we differ to the definition of a movement we are not seeking or have a definitive outcome we want to see come about. We stopped giving a f~~~.

We appear there fore to be passively resistant.
But that involves marches etc.

A more accurate term is NON COOPERATION.

We ‘respectfully’ disagree with With the State and it’s directives.

MGTOW is a collective group of men that have one common point : We are on strike (at different levels)

This is passive resistance by opting out. We are still a part of a group. And I assume that we all want freedom from this pack of lies we have been told and fell into since an early age.

We wake the fack up and that’s quite moving things around. That’s the beauty of MGTOW : moving things by not acting on them. Not choosing is th best choice there.

I understand that we go to a common goal : Less bullcrap and more truth, more US (or more me) and less THEM (less her) that’s more or less what I would call the intent MGTOW if we could define it as a movement.

But it’s also great not to be one. There is no leader, there are no strict rules, a loose code of conduct but letting one doing what he wants in a world of full restrictions left and right IS by default an act of resistance.

Every one of us is a movement is moving things around to make his life a better one. Each of us was alone, yet now backed up by a supportive community of like minded people and shared experiences. Both uplifting and demonstrating guidance. We are not pushed nor incentivised but using rational choices we made the first move to opt things out.
