I’m looking to move to a less expensive apartment, and I’m open to sharing a place for a few months to save money. I find one on Kijiji (basically a Canadian version of Craigslist) and find one that looks pretty nice, for a good price, and an added bonus of sharing it with a professional cook, which means tons of stuff in the kitchen and a deep freezer. I inquire and answer a few questions via e-mail about the standard stuff. Do I smoke, what do I do for work etc, then they ask if I have a problem with gay people. Of course not, and I tell them as such. Then they drop this bomb on me:

“Do you understand that gay women are not into men? sorry to ask but these questions are important. I have a lot of gay friends that visit and my Partner is everything to me and if something happen to her I would legit rape that person with a baseball bat… you feel me? I have had a lot of creepers msg me back asking to join and blah blah. If we were to open our home up to a dude it would be a great honor because I’m frankly skeptical of decent men anymore. You would have to become a big brother type to us. Cleaning schedules posted and if you have stinky feet we will get you a bin to keep them in outside! Lol”

Great, so now I have to be your bodyguard while I’m paying you rent? Pass.

I swear to God, the people you find on the internet.

This is what bothers me about those kinds of “relationships.” There’s usually one woman in that “relationship” that still wants a man around to be their guardian, though that usually will upset the more butch of the two.

Like seriously, we were about 4 emails deep in regards to a subject involving the exchange of money, and this is how they respond? If they’re so worried about it, adding “Female applicants only” to the ad takes about three seconds to type.

Avoid female room mates that aren’t blood relatives. Dealing with their s~~~ is not worth the hassle.

Also, you go through like 5x more toilet paper.

They cannot type “female applicants only” because that would be blatant discrimination. Even if that is what they want- but they seem to be too stupid to weed out candidates within the first one or two communications. If you want to f~~~ them over, take that written rape threat to the cops or Residential Tenancy Branch. RTB would probably be more effective because it is a total kangaroo court designed for tenants rather than landlords.

Agree with Himeo – avoid female room mates at all costs.

I had one tell me in all seriousness she feels jealous when my then long term girlfriend came to visit. Then I had to deal with extreme mood swings depending on where she was in her lunatic cycle. Teary, horny, I’ll make you dinner… f~~~ off. Don’t expose yourself to that misery even for free rent.

Put a man into a woman’s house and something bizarre happens to their brain chemistry. Same when you get into an elevator with a woman alone you can sense the crazy. All kinds of crazy.

Forgot to add when that Dyke was saying “they’re not into men” you can guarantee her hamster wheel was racing with rape fantasies. Send her a few dick pics just for the lulz.
