I was a punk myself when I was a teenager. We wore ripped clothes, dyed our hair weird colours, pushed safety pins through our noses etc… What is new these days is the ages at which women (and men too) are pushing this “look”. By my mid teens and certainly late teens I had realised all the effort, and it takes a lot of effort, to look this way was counterproductive. I grew up, I matured.

Butyou are commonly seeing “kids” in their 20’s, 30’s and later pushing this look. It is not good.
