I can’t stand that show. It reflects that being a mangina is perfectly acceptable, even though it isn’t!

While the male actors are laughing all the way to the bank, I want to tell them they did such a disservice to men, because they laid the foundation down for helping create a society of beta males.

I was in my mid teens when it aired. I couldn’t stand it then & I can’t stand the show now. Nick @ Night airs reruns 5 days a week.

The worst character was the one played by David Schwimmer(or however you spell his name). His nasally, whiney voice coupled with his mangina attitude drove me nuts. WHY CREATE A CHARACTER LIKE THAT?!!!

It was to increase female viewers. You see, women want the beta male as a provider. They say they don’t like a man who they can walk on but in reality, they do want that, to a certain degree. They want power & control & they know they can get power & control with that type of male. Yet at the same time, they want a Man’s man/alpha male for protection & lustful desires. I’m preaching to the choir here.

I’d rather spend my time watching Charles Bronson & Lee Marvin movies.

Yeah, you have Ross there who gets screwed over and over again by women, and we all supposed to laugh about that.

And then you have Chandler acts like a cuck with Monica, even as he watches her fk all these guys (Tom Sellick included) until he ends up settling down as her simp.

I never watched that s~~~ either. Plenty of other shows did the same thing though.. I always wondered why some kids I grew up with weren’t allowed to watch TV..

Watched a few episodes here and there. Apart from the worst plot for a tv series, the jokes were facepalm worthy.

I was in high school when that show was popular. It was clear to me there and then, there two types of people in the world: Seinfeld people and Friends people – rarely did someone like both. I absolutely hated Friends and still love Seinfeld. One is basic and one is genius.

Always hated this show and every c~~~ who tried to make me watch it with her. A bunch of f~~s living together with no jobs and all the time to sit around a coffee shop.

Phoebe can f~~~ off. Monica is a slut. Chandler and Ross take it up the ass with a strap on.

    The entire series summarized.

I was never a big fan of the show. I always preferred Seinfeld over Friends. I never understood why it was so popular.

Full House, Family Matters, Happy Days, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Home Improvement, The Munsters, Saved by the Bell, Get Smart, Gilligan’s Island and News Radio were some of the shows I watched growing up and found more enjoyable.

Not gonna lie, I got a lot of laughs out of Friends. Seinfeld too. And so many other things. But yeah, looking back, mangina central. Oh well.

These days I cannot watch anything really. Never been happier.

This is no joke. If you take a drink every time Ross whines “We were on a break”, you could get alcohol poisoning. That show propagated that three bitches spread their legs all over NYC for years, then marry the men that have been watching this for a decade. You know this show is fictional because there were no illegitimate children had, and no STDs were had? Uh…..ok.

True C. Cox hit that wall hard a couple times, but Anniston still looks ok, even though the wall will hit soon. I’d marry her just for the money. I bet I could walk away with at least $1 mil if I can get away from signing a prenup. If I ever get married again, it’s gonna be for money. I’ll do what millions of women are doing right now. I’ll get married for a big payday!

But he was so perfectly cast in that role.

I ended up watching the show because girls I dated and my ex-wife were into it. I admit I laughed some and liked it but I always thought Ross was just f~~~ing pathetic and annoying. I actually liked the friendship between Chandler and Joey. I enjoyed those two until Chandler and Monica got together. To me that was kind of where it jumped the shark. Of the female characters I found Phoebe the least annoying. And I never got why the Rachel character or Jennifer Aniston were so popular. But, whatever…

I’m sorry guys, I did actually kind of like it. Mainly I liked Chandler and Joey when they were good.

Don’t take away my MGTOW card.

I did like Seinfeld too though.

Seinfeld was also crap. I did find it amusing, but it was low brow humor and ultimately caused more damage than good. Friends was also low brow but wasn’t even funny.

Virtually all TV of the last several decades is garbage designed to program the masses. If you liked it or find yourself being influenced by any of it, you know that you need to deprogram yourself from it.

As men at least you are able to do so. Women are completely unable to do so and that’s why they’re such a mess. Well, one of the reasons, there are many of course.

Several years after I completely stopped watching TV, I found my sex drive collapsed and my dignity and self respect skyrocketed. There is no question in my mind that TV programs men to be weak and pathetic. To me it is a poison, a poison that I’ve been exposed to too much so I am extremely sensitive to.

Friends? More like F~~~~~S. Despised that show when it came out and despise it now. I knew alot of guys who watched it and I thought they were c~~~~~~~~~s for doing so. All the women were and still are ugly as f~~~ to me.

I don’t like American ‘comedy’ anyway, its canned laughter unfunny s~~~e.

    #587397

My last ex girlfriend used to watch Gilmore Girls with her daughter religiously. I’d always walk past them watching it on my way out and say “f~~~ing load of s~~~e”.

Her kid also watched little American slappers and c~~~s on youtube talking like entitled bratty c~~~s doing make up tutorials and how to ‘snag a guy’.

No it isn’t. I don’t get it at all. Its just loud shouty talking one liners then HAHAHAHAAAHAHAHA from some laughter track.

    British comedy is the best.

The only US show I like when I was a teenager was Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
