Freedom of speech is dead, basically. A few holdouts remain. Mostly men are staying silent because they can not afford a court action, in which their accusers are backed by a phalanx of free lawyers all of whom have lots of unstructured free time to persecute some lone male.

It will start with small but no longer disguised things.

And they’ll keep pushing it just to see how far is tolerable.

Honestly the GAE decision was a huge coup for freedom of speech online. Unfortunately the women who essentially made false and malicious charges against him are going to go totally unpunished for their crimes. Hopefully this precedent is used in future court cases, but it could very well be that another, more egregious case plays out much differently. Only time will tell.
