Do you guys like FPS games? I was never a fan of first person shooter games, especially the “modern military shooter” which is very saturated in the market. I prefer FPS that has a theme more fictional, such as: Quake, Doom, Turok… Fighting demons, monsters, mutants and cyborgs dinosaurs it’s much more fun for me than to be fighting with the same kind of enemy all the time, not to mention that I prefer ten thousand times when the game has “health pack” than that annoying mechanical of; you got shot, so, take cover for a while that your energy go back to normal. I am also a fan of the genre “tactical shooter” as the SOCOM for example I know that the SOCOM is in third person, but I appreciate when a game makes us use your head instead of … shoot, take cover, shoot, take cover, shoot, take cover).

I became a MGTOW because this was the only logical solution for a man survive in a world replete of gynocentrism and biased against men!

Gears of War was my cup of tea.

I don’t. I think everyone here by now knows how I feel about military and war… So yea, never been into shooter games even though I own many guns. Kids blowing people’s heads off all day long learning military tactics for their future likely last resort of employment, yea, not the crowd I care to hang out with. No offense meant to those who are into these game, just my point of view, and of course a generalization of the genre.

I am still stuck on World of Warcraft and play on a private server overseas right now after almost a decade on retail. Being around people who on average are roughly 15 years or so younger than myself has been great. I don’t get along with crusty old farts who have the same ideas of the world as my Grandfather.

I prefer the tactical shooter as well. In particular the older ones like Raven Shield and the other greats from that time period.

I don’t care for the modern FPS at all, I tried playing COD4 and hated it, because it was all about trying to rack up as many kills as possible.

I do like the ARMA series though, the game has an incredible amount of depth and potential.

I like the Civilization series you can play on your computer. After a long time I got the new Civilization 5 about a month ago. It’s been fun to catch up on the series. I do like other games but I don’t have time for them with my crazy schedule. It’s enough for me now.

More into RPGs and adventure games myself, so the closest thing to an FPS that I enjoy is Fallout.

I love playing Mass Effect, even though it’s an over the shoulder-shooter, so to say. Back in the day, I played Unreal Tournament, DOOM and a bit of Quake.

Soldier of Fortune was great about 15 years ago. Now I’m just too old to have the reflexes necessary to play them. Tried Resistance:FoM on PS3 and really struggled with timing.

Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare is the first FPS game that comes to mind. Resident Evil Chronicles is another one. I like those listed games, but the problem I have is and it goes with modern games is I get motion sickness.

Am a big fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series played them all and still playing Lost Alpha, just loving the setting and the atmosphere.
My machine is pretty old so I can´t play any new games atm.
Looking forward to Star Citizen and No Man´s Sky. Rage is another game I will get, once I replaced my old PC.

While i am not a huge gamer I do have this persistent strategy to use PC shooters at various points of life as a tool for unleashing red pill rage without any consequences.

So i am not really expert but if anyone is looking for FPS do not look farther that Metro series. I played Stalker recently as part of red pill rage strategy but Metro is just on another level.

What bugs me with Metro (just seen it being played) is that you´re mostly are guided through the maps and most of what I seen is underground.
I prefer open world and the freedom to do whatever I want and not having a fixed way, just roaming around, discovering and collecting weapons, artifacts, trading etc.. Also the alternate endings depending on your behaviour I think are a cool feature. No need to get into each and every firefight.
Played lots of different shooters beginning with Doom there was no need to be in a rage, its just a distraction in a way w/o hurting anyone.

the book this game is based on is great also

FPSs are probably my favourite genre although I play almost anything. If anyone wants a thinking man’s shooter then get Deus Ex Mankind Divided – is absolutely brilliant and involves more than just shooting people (although you can do that) as you have multiple ways to complete missions

My last played fps was Wolfenstein New World Order, excellent game. I love some old school FPS like Duke Nuken 3d, Doom, Quake and System Shock. But my favourites are COD 1 and COD 2, they are epic. Nowadays an FPS must be focused on online game play, there’s no much choice for offline games.

I’m playing Alien Isolation, seems promising.
