My apologies if this has already been posted.

But it’s been a long time since I saw something genuinely cool on The Simpsons, and wondered if you guys might enjoy it aswell. It’s an opening couch gag that was done by a guest animator, and features Homer as a bad-arse action star in something called La-Z Rider, which is basically an amalgamation of every buddy cop TV show of the ’80s. It’s got it all – big guns, cheesy tone, synthetic pop music, and the shoulder pads. Oh, the shoulder pads. They even have streaks in the film, just like early VHS tapes had.

Remember when TV shows used to be like this? It’s been a while.
