Found a crazy huge spider

I was out walking my dog today and we found a giant ground spider. Leg span about 4 inches.

I’ve always hated everything about insects. The way they always do things as if they’re AI or automated (ants for example) and their creepy looking figures always crawling around as if for no reason set me off about them. To me they’re so machine like and out of this world, so damn weird and bizarre that I can’t even stand the sight of them.

I thought it looked like a wolf spider because I saw big ones when I lived in Arizona. But I didn’t know they got as big as this one you found. Cool.
