Listening and watching what happens to the male friends and family in your life is a “real world” education. By the time I was 25 virtually all the male friends and family I knew had been divorced. Some were raped by the courts others lost their children and others were just depressed because they “had failed as a husband”. They never even considered that it was their wives that were toxic as f~~~.

I watched and learned. By 26 I was a confirmed bachelor. (I don’t think the term MGTOW was around back then)

However, I do have sympathy for some of these men. All they want to do is care for their families. Be a good father. Its deeply ingrained in them.

It may come out in text wrong, but it’s honestly not a pity party, I just see it as trying to warn and reach as many as possible.

I remember when I first lurked here and was shell shocked.

The comfort I derived from countless posts all the same which proved I wasn’t mad, it wasn’t just me but the whole goddam planet too.

That I really was with a god awful toxic t~~~ and that they’re nearly all the same.

I grew strength and just wanted to pay it all forward. Get the message out there. Be another story that adds to the collective here and let’s others see that no it’s not them, they really are with c~~~s.

Hopefully some lurkers read it and their eyes open and they decide ‘enough is enough’ too.

I had similar experiences where the skeletons of many years of my past surfaced from the deep. Took quite a while to get it all settled.
