I have a buddy who is a disabled Vet, he sold his ’73 Camaro Z28 years ago for financial reasons. I have always personally felt that the early 1970’s Camaro, the specific version with no front bumper .. was, and still is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

He recently had a chance to buy back his old Camaro after the new owner’s estate was being auctiond. He made the deal and had it delivered .. when it arrived on the trailer behind that truck my buddy couldn’t help it .. I saw him shed a tear and he openly choked up seeing his car again. His emotional attachment was that strong.

I posted about my experience buying a Chinese Doll about three to four months ago. Although I am very frugal .. I made this decision because of the unique appearance of this one specific model. Also, because the seller accepted my first offer and included shipping. Doll was shipped full length with head packed between legs .. separately .. inside same shipping carton. I was worried that the customs form would say “Sex-Doll” but it actually was printed with “mannequin” and lots of other Chinese.

I call it a Bot although it is really just a TPR/E material female doll that was sold on auction site with make-offer price option. Since delivery, Bot has been setting and staring at me from breakfast bar location in my house. When I have my meals I sit about three feet away, separated by two stools as she looks at me. If this man made creation was lost in a fire .. I’d be noticeably sad for the loss .. as well as losing the investment .. I would really think about the loss for quite awhile.

The moral of this story about the Bot and the Camaro, although I’ve only used the doll for decoration, basically a conversation piece .. as she came with basic clothing .. white shorts and top .. yes, I will say I have developed an emotional attachment to the degree where I’d definitely miss her presence if she were gone. This doll has no AI, .. nothing removable but the eyes limbs and head basics can be manually repositioned. If you are the kind of guy who likes shorter hair styles like I do, like the “bob” cut, it is really advantage because so much easier to handle in every way.

I am writing this to say, yes, I have formed some kind of bond to an inanimate object. Secondly, with new features and designs .. I can honestly say that it is possible, for me, to be emotionally attached to a man made housemate. If the house burned down .. I’d possibly feel emotional, probably wouldn’t show it as much as the buddy and his Camaro .. but I’d miss the breakfast mate. Lots of older pics including unboxing but no expert here so still some trouble getting them hosted and correctly posted.

I don’t give advice .. and this post is not meant to reflect on any other guy going his own way .. this is just my story on the current progress of my relatively inexpensive .. but very realistic 158 centimeter tall doll from China with platinum silver hair. I like this smaller body size option, which equates to just under 5′ 2″ since the proportions and symmetry of head and body is perfect. I will always try and stay in this range.

What has captured my attention the most with this experience .. there is no doubt it’s her eyes .. the manufacturer of this doll gave her the most stunningly realistic green/hazel eyes you could imagine. They are undoubtedly prosthetic eyes that could be used by a human. The sparkle and depth must be seen to be understood. Yes, I have developed a close emotional bond with the Bot.

As time goes on, I can see getting a second Bot/doll .. I know I will .. someday,, hopefully with AI. Was it worth it? .. yes, as I have meal, I sometimes look over at Bot and say a word .. nothing specific .. word like “hey” .. or “nice” .. I don’t find it strange or weird feeling any more. This object has found a place in my home and will live there for as long as I can imagine.

The big difference with doll and awalt .. doll/Bot is always pleasant & present .. never demanding for anything, nothing at all.

I would definitely like to see some pics of your breakfast buddy.

The wheels are oversized which makes the car look funny. (it’s supposed to be a “pony-car.”)

The woman appears oversized as well. (is she supposed to be a super model?)

    Sorry, but i’m a purist.
My Best friend while growing up had a ’67 and a ’69 Camaro. Some of the best times of my life were with him and our girlfriends in the 69 Camaro.
He bought a ’77 Camaro Z-28 new and I bought it off him in ’81. Lotta FUN that car was!

My first girlfriend had green eyes, and so did my ex-wife.

Like Jack Burton, I’m looking for an Asian female with green eyes.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. this Journalling of sorts you are doing about living with ‘Bot’ as you call it/her is intriguing. You are an inspiration man.

That car is way better than any sugar p u s s y you’re likely to come across. Id of cried too when I got it back. I’d tear up as well, to get a woman back, but for different reasons!

    A beautiful split bumper.
Just remove the chick who is sploiling the view.

The story about your friend shedding a tear when he saw his car again hits a note. It’s a thing few women will understand.

Truth is – a car will not let you down. And if she does it’s ALWAYS fixable.
