Fools errand;Making a women happy
How many happy women do you know?I have seen women happy for a day or so if a lot of resources are applied to which soon becomes “that old car,this little house ” etc Men can be happy with simple things.Women hate to see anything make a him happy that is not her.They are jealous of anything that makes him happy because it is a threat to her power.Anything “she lets him do” or have.Watch the ball game,fish,hunt even she is to be thanked and will require a price payed to her for the benevolence to let him spend his money or his time doing something he wants. What is longest time a women has been happy that you know? and what did this happiness cost ?

One overlooked thing when people talk about happiness: it’s fleeting. Happy is a “right now” feeling. I can shoot a hole in one in golf and then walk off the course to a flat tire and I won’t be “happy” anymore. Contentment is a longer term feeling. Liking the choices you have made in life and the general way life is going.

I would say that women in general want happiness where guys want contentment. I’ve said this before about my ex, but life to her is a daily 40 yard dash, whereas I view it as a marathon. A guy can take a setback. A woman is p~~~ed immediately when her happiness is taken away for 5 minutes.

But you can’t blame them, the princess did get to live “HAPPILY ever after”, right? Every minute of her life was life was pure bliss. She wasn’t CONTENT ever after.

But that’s why it’s a fools errand. Because no one can live up to a standard of making someone else happy every moment of the day. Hell, I can’t even do that for myself. But you could make a woman happy for month straight, and the five minutes after that where she isn’t happy there will be hell to pay.

And women wonder where all the good men went……………..

Yes you did TaxGuy. At one point in a different older thread JanSobieski already brought up a similar question regarding women and happiness and there I explained it to him in a similar way like TaxGuy just did.

In my point of view it’s the disparity between happiness and contentment as well as the mixed up misconceptions between the two that is the core understanding problem between both of the sexes.

Broken down it would be like this: women want happiness in a contentment like fashion and men want contentment or let’s also call it comfort at least every now and then or better still during a large part in a relationship to stay committed and that again is what modern spoiled women in particular will never be able to understand, because they can’t help it.

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. My experience is that she wants to be the source and control your level of happiness. She wants you to devote your life to maintaining her happiness, which is a fleeting emotion.

I would much rather have contentment. Contentment is a sustainable, lasting, emotion.

There’s no trick to “making a woman happy”. She’s happiest when she’s complaining. Just give her plenty to complain about. The women who are “happiest” in their relationship and marriages are perfectly content to make everyone around them miserable.

They love it. They won’t leave it! It also explains why they refuse to leave the abusive asshole,…. and why she leaves the guy who treats her WELL. He doesn’t give her anything to complain about!

So now….. it’s just a question of whether or not you want to bother.

It’s a fools errand alright. But you’re not a fool if you understand it. She is.

Women want fried ice to be happy..

Luckily the only place I’ve found that actually serves fried ice is in Thailand.

So the next time a woman asks to be made happy I’ll just have to fly off to Thailand to make her happy ;-).

Oh do they ever like to complain, and they can sense a sympathetic ear a mile away. The majority of time I’ve spent talking with women has consisted of them complaining and me trying to find a way to get the hell out of there. My mom is no exception, but at least she has a thick enough skin to change the subject and not be spiteful about it when I tell her I’m not interested. I just say “Alright, lets talk about something else. You’ve told me about this a hundred times before.” Problem solved.

Women are happiest:
1. When they are the center of attention.
2. When they acquire some material object or man that her girl friends value. (Often she calculates her self-worth by her material trappings or money she controls)
3. When they can “triumph” in some “victory” over a man, thus showing her importance or value over a man.
4. When they complain.
5. When she “looks” better or is thinner than her girlfriends.
