What do you mean what is in it for YOU? You are a man, it is your job to serve the women, men don’t deserve rewards just for doing what is expected you sexist-pig, REEEEEEE!

Marriage: About as appealing as wood-chipper diving.

    Dear Mr Hemmings,
I hear your call that I share collective responsibility for the criminal actions of other men who I have never met, and over whom I have no control. Here is my response:

Each year, our government confiscates a sizable portion of my earnings and uses them to fund the salaries of cops, judges, lawyers, court officers, and prison guards. My salary also funds the three hots and a cot those criminals get rewarded with when they are caught…along with free medical, cable tv and all the other s~~~ they get rewarded with for that behavior. At the same time, my taxes fund the costs of women’s shelters, social workers, medical care and all the other free s~~~ that women are rewarded with for choosing to be in relationships with these criminals. As a bonus, I also get to pay for all the medical, education and other needs of the (usually illegitimate) children that result from this criminal/idiot behavior.

I’m funding both ends and the middle of this party and I’m on the hook to continue funding it through the next generation of these idiots and criminals. And now even as I work to earn the money to continue to support this bulls~~~, you sit on your ass and belch out articles to me trying to shame me for not taking enough responsibility for stopping it? How about you go volunteer (for free) on a criminal halfway house and see if you can talk some sense into these criminals? You won’t do it because you fear their wrath. Or, how about you volunteer in a battered women’s shelter and see if you can talk some sense into women who continue to seek out and reward this behavior. You won’t do this either because you are desperate for their approval.

All you are going to do is sit there and write articles like this in an attempt to sell a book… about a system that you hope like hell will not change before you get your chance to join the party and become ANOTHER one of the people who gets money and prizes from it.

You can take your wagging finger and stick it up your ass alongside this article and the book you are trying to sell.

    Regards,
    Brain Pilot

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

So, if someone on Twitter writes about ‘sexist men’, a legion of (often anonymous) accounts pile in to reply “Not all men”.

So what if they’re anonymous? They’re not accusing anybody of anything. They’re simply stating the obvious fact that the tone makes it clear that this is an accusation against men as a whole. But this author tries the typical angle of implying that the anonymity reveals poor character. Nevermind that most Internet discussion is done with user names and avatars.

While it’s perfectly obvious that not all men are sexist, it would be absurd to suggest sexism isn’t a mostly-male pursuit.

That depends on how narrowly you define sexism. Women can express disapproval or even disgust for men all day, but let a man make one similar comment even if the situation warrants it.

It’s time we take collective responsibility for how our social engineering is encouraging these problems. It’s time we take collective responsibility for building up well-rounded, emotionally intelligent, empathetic young men.

    .
That’s exactly what I do. I certainly don’t teach him chivalry, but I do teach to respect other people’s dignity and boundaries. The men I know are the same way (except for the chivalry, which a few of them unfortunately still buy into to some extent). F this author for implying any different.

a world free from the shackles of masculinity

Yeah, that might as well be the title of this article. Total mangina.
