The machinery requires men to work to pay for women, children, and the oh so needy Government (proxy child support for others). A man in prison can’t make money for any of them. A man in prison can’t even be taken to court for changes to child support. Because of putting her on a budget or not letting her see her toxic family he can get three hots and a cot while she starves to death in the street.

This is a fail all around, it had to have been written by women or beggars. No forethought whatsoever.

The best you can hope for after leaving the slammer and facing ( yet another ) judge is having the arrears stacked on to whatever they decide your monthly payments for support should be.

If laws came into play like this in the USA id probably wind up in prison because i am not the type of person who likes putting up with s~~~ and calls people out on it. There is no need to look for logic or consequential situations on this one. This law is completely f~~~ed and exists solely for the benefits the T~~~s will extricate from their “their man”.

This doesn’t surprise me considering the public hysteria in relation to domestic violence. Isn’t it interesting that now that it’s such a big issue in the media, the reports of domestic violence are increasing tenfold!? Some might argue that this is due to public awareness, but I’d argue that it’s due to increasingly lax laws as to what constitutes domestic violence.
In Australia, domestic violence doesn’t have to be something proven. It can be emotional, spiritual, social and economic. This pretty much means that engaging in any kind of argument is out of the question. The problem is no matter how aware you might be of what constitutes domestic violence, even if you do absolutely nothing wrong there’s nothing in place to stop spiteful, false allegations.
I have my own experience with this, and the courts will “err on the side of caution” every time. It’s similar to how if a teacher is accused of child abuse he’s immediately taken out of the school until an investigation can be completed. That makes sense at first glance, but what happens when the kids realise they have this power? This is exactly what’s happening with women. They know they have this power over men. With some vague accusation of simply being “controlling”, you can be taken out of your home, lose access to your family and likely job and now risk being jailed for it. Controlling could be as simple as “honey, I think you’ve had too much to drink”. Sounds ridiculous right, but I’ve been there. It’s all in the mind of the bitch that wants you punished, and all these little complaints they might have had over the years but never mentioned come out in a masterful performance to the police. I’d say more often than not men are being punished simply for not folding to their bulls~~~ (for trying to go their own way).

It’s a modern day Milgram Experiment. Give people (women) the power and permission from authority to f~~~ others over/inflict pain and they will simply because they can.
