This may not be in the right forum if so I apologise.

A feminist is attacking a manga/ anime reviewer because he doesn’t like the main heroine of Naruto.

here is the link to the Youtuber discussing this:

Okay.  I didn’t finish the video.

That said, I have to ask/rant why is it that feminism and accusations of misogyny have to invade every aspect of entertainment?

    It’s…….a…….f~~~ing………cartoon.

If anime is your thing then okay.  But they are still……just……f~~~ing…..cartoons.

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

Don’t you get it: Everything we have they need, simply because we have it. They can’t stand the idea that there is something they don’t control – because, God forbid, they can’t dominate every aspect of their immasculated workhorses lives, lest they get any ideas.

    I am ashamed……….

I will order the book The Feminine Mystique from amazon tonight.

I will flagellate myself with a used douche bag.

I will apologize to every woman I see.

I will destroy anything remotely phallic shaped in my home.

    I am a degenerate.

    I am a man.

Eemediately vector funding elsewhere. This is a great springboard for a list of activities that only men participate in that can be firewalled to stop labial intervention.

As previous posters noted, it is control they want, control and power, and the power hungry are never satisfied. They always want more. When they run out of resources (an HR term meaning “employees”), they will turn on each other.

You know what annoys me about this? Women complain about lack of respectable representation in media. They complain about “anti-female” storylines and features. They bitch about “objectification”. (In fact, I’m not even sure what it is they supposedly like about any of the things they claim to like because they want to change everything!)

And yet…THEY DO NOTHING TO MAKE SOMETHING OF THEIR OWN!

I LOVE comic books. One of the things that have always amazed me was how talented men, when they got tired of the status quo, go and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.

In the 90’s, six artists got tired of not getting recognized for being the reason why the books were selling at Marvel and DC, so they left and founded Image Comics, now one of the biggest comic book publishers in the US and a safe haven for creator-owned work. They published the Walking Dead, which became a hit TV series, and they get asked for pitches for movies, TV series, and video games all of the time, making creators richer than they might have ever been at the Big 2 (Marvel and DC).

Also in the 90’s, a group of black writers and artists, who felt racial minorities were underrepresented in comics, started Milestone Media. While Milestone is no longer printing comics, they were bought out by DC Comics. Static Shock, a staple of Milestone, has been in the Teen Titans and had his own TV series. Dwayne McDuffie, one of the founders, went on to be a major force in the very successful Justice League/Justice League Unlimited animated series (one of my favorite animated series of all time). Another founder, Michael Davis, ended up a president at an imprint at the aforementioned Image Comics. So while their company may no longer exist, they bettered the cause for minority characters and advanced their own career to the point where they could have some say.

What have women done, though? Bitched. Bitched and bitched and f~~~ing bitched all over the internet. As Bill Burr pointed out, they don’t care about the thing, they care about the control. It’s why get men to dress in pink in the NFL for breast cancer awareness instead of starting their own league and using that as a platform or why they have men in the NBA for the “lean in” ads instead of using women in the WNBA.

    Rant over.

I can relate to this.  When I was married, I was experimenting with dovetails (woodworking joint) using some cheap left over wood scraps.  I made a rather amateurish box out of it and it still sits on my dresser to this day.  It’s functional, sturdy, and most importantly, I made it.

it is control they want, control and power, and the power hungry are never satisfied.

While I was in the construction process my ex wife asked “That’s nice but what do we need this for?”

I had to tell her that everything that I do isn’t for the betterment of us.  And that the pronoun us means you or your approval.  I can create and enjoy the creation without satisfying any of her needs.  She didn’t enjoy this observation.

Thank you RoyDal and Kingofthesea.  I haven’t had to be bothered with a woman from day-to-day for over eight years and tend to forget some things.  If it weren’t for guys like you reminding me of just how intrusive women are in every aspect of a man’s life, I might have started dating again.

You know what is interesting. It seems that is so an American women thing to do. They bitch and moan about not being in the industry and expect to just have it handed to them. Worst of all Marvel, surprise surprise, did just that. Comic Book Resources resident feminazi writer, Kelly Thompson is actually co writing Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps with Kelly Sue Deconnick the writer of the main Captain Marvel book and creator of the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel. She didn’t earn that, all she does on the site is turn all of her articles into gender issues and complain. This is a woman who gave Arrow a low score because she couldn’t understand it while beginning in the middle of season 2 while the show was on the in the back ground, but gave the upcoming Jessica Jones show, which we knew nothing about, a perfect score because it would have a woman in it. Kelly Sue may be a feminist but at least she started at the bottom and worked her way up to work at Marvel and write a major hero like Carol Danvers.

At least Japanese woman get off their ass and make something. Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, and Sailor Moon. All major popular manga and anime around the world and written and drawn by women. Guess what Japan doesn’t have though? Feminism lol. Young Japanese girls aren’t being told how “oppressed” they are like American girls so when they decide they want to try being a mangaka they actually try it. American women who actually enjoy comics don’t care about who the writer, artist, or characters are as long as they are fun to read. Most women who get involved though just want to ruin it because it is something men have control over.

I LOVE comic books. One of the things that have always amazed me was how talented men, when they got tired of the status quo, go and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.

Going back to Gail Simone it is funny because when the New 52 started she returned the Batgirl status quo to being dark and serious like Batman. She was treated like Batman: Attractive but not overly sexy, had a suit that was realistic for its function, and used her brain and skills to fight crime. And what did women and other white knights think of that? They said it was too dark and turning women off. Then when the new team makes Batgirl more girl, a feminine costume, and dealing with womens issues the book becomes perfect for girls we are told lol.

He also write the movie “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earth’s” which is one of DC’s best animated movies, an awesome run on Fantastic Four, and a semi decent run of Justice League of America before his too soon passing away.

What have women done, though? Bitched. Bitched and bitched and f~~~ing bitched all over the internet. As Bill Burr pointed out, they don’t care about the thing, they care about the control. Even women know no one gives a f~~~ about the WNBA lol. The NFL needs to tell this feminists to f~~~ off and they will support any cause they want to. During the recent super bowl those commercials about domestic violence, running like a girl, and that T Mobile commercial were nothing more then the NFL giving into female narcissism and control.
