Good morning and I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is looking forward to a New Year.

Sorry if I sound so f~~~ing chipper…. but this was the best Christmas I’ve had in over 2 decades.

I went to open gifts with the kids at my former abode that I still pay for and as I walked in I was happy to see my dogs who greeted me first and warmest and enjoyed opening gifts with the kids.

As the present wrapping came to an end I noticed my STBX aka “selfish one” aka “my 3rd child” throwing together some terrible looking food for her family who would be coming over.

The SO (selfish one) always depended on me to plan and execute with little help from her a damn good meal. She likes cooking things in boxes. I would roast a bird or grill a tenderloin. Her family would guzzle all my booze, eat like kings and then leave a huge mess after staying hours and hours.

As I mused about not having to deal with their asses this year I watched her put some pathetic processed pastry in the oven and noticed she wasn’t cooking any real food this year.

She also put a time limit on the get-together so they wouldn’t camp out all damn day.

I smiled to myself and realized I never had to deal with those entitled slobs again for the rest of my life and it made my heart grow 2 sizes.

As soon as the SO made a smart ass quip about something I smiled again and said, “OK y’all, I guess I’ll be going.. Merry Christmas”. And it was.

2018 is going to be great. It will be financially tough but I know once I weather this storm I’ll be caught up financially, but more importantly a mentally “richer” man and free of the chains I’d forged these 20+ years.

    Happy New Year

Wealth comes in many forms my friend. You will weather the storm, just don’t look back…. you aren’t going that way.

That’s just plain old wrong to trash someone’s house then walk away not even picking up a single plate or helping bag all the trash! I pride myself in not being able to tell I was ever there!

Like C-Pig, I always left the sink clean and free of dishes at our ski house when I left.

Eat, drink, and s~~~ the place up is a tell tale sign of a lazy f~~~ing slob! I was the same way at work when it came to shop tooling. I always cleaned everything off and put it back in its proper place so others didn’t have to waste time searching for the tools or equipment.

One slob in a shop wastes more time for others always picking up behind them or asking them where they were working last, some motherf~~~ers leave tools outside to be buried under the snow and rust!

Working around shop slobs is a pet peeve of mine especially when searching for tools EATS INTO MY PRODUCTIVITY!

No body should ever have to clean up after another! Some women are the worst offenders of this!

Epic, once you were trapped and had to suffer through the smart ass quips but now- freedom and NFTG

free of the chains I’d forged these 20+ years.

Even blue pill men need to realize this. The only power they ever hold is given by us, and that which we grant the courts by signing legal documents.

My dealings changed greatly years ago when I absorbed this.

Since then I’ve broken all but the legal chains.

Congratulations on your good result with your first holiday season.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

lol you went back to the s~~~ vortex?

Best part of that deal was seeing your kids and dogs
and being able to leave the c~~~ behind.

Good for you for seeing how you escaped from that prison, and glad to hear it was a truly great Xmas for you.

For those who are on the site and are still contemplating marriage, remember, when a person marries, they often get a family to go along with the spouse. Choose carefully for both, if that is even possible.

I hate those kind of relatives! F~~~ing sponges. I always wash dishes if they let me and do other things to show my gratitude for people’s hospitality.

Congratulations on being free of the selfish one, sounds like she’s realising how hard all that ‘easy stuff’ is now she’s on her own!

Sounds like being able to leave was the best gift of all!

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
