Just another in the line of ridiculous decisions made by the justice system. The article is pretty short, but it says all you need to know. This woman was a pharmacist at Wal-mart, a job that pays at most $60,000 a year. When she was fired, for what Wal-Mart claimed was repeated disciplinary action followed by losing her key to the pharmacy, she claimed gender discrimination. Now lets do the math here. Even if she had planned at working at that Wal-Mart for the next 30 years, she lost about $1.8m in back wages (through her own poor performance). Where does the $31m number come from? Well, she unless she planned on being a pharmacist for the next 4-500 years, It’s probably because she has a vagina, and cried in court about being discriminated against. Now she gets to live her life in luxury because the jury was probably full of white knights.

That figure is way off. As a pharmacist for Walmart she definitely made 115-120,000 or more/ year. I know because I am a pharmacist. Starting salary is never under 56$ an hour.
