    It was delicious and I’m not feeling sick yet 😜 I definitely will have to do this again!

    I had Three delicious Extra Crispy™ tenders, dipping sauce, mashed potatoes, biscuit, medium drink, and a chocolate chip cookie for just $5.

    KFC is about all I remember of my father. it’s one of the only Reason I head into Coos Bay this last year.

    Sad. Wonder what my life would have been like if my dad was around.

    Besides that. The story of Colonel Harland David Sanders was an amazing one. And I MEAN AMAZING.

    A real rags to riches story. And man it was one hell of a ride. So far the family as far as I know owns the ones in Canada, and the I think of ONE store here in the states. The Rest is owned by Pepsico.

    And as I remember, he was in the NAVY too.

    This man basically invented the way to fry chicken. And that was his Patent I think. But really the amazing story was that he always went around to his stores, and if they were not up to snuff, he would tell them.

    Pepsi loved the guy. For all his criticism, it just made people think that he was holding the big company in line. And for a time he was.

    For me, it will be the place where my dad just about every other day would go in and eat some chicken. All I remember is the rides in his van, where we would go through the drive thru, and get some to take home.

    After my dad left my life. I just could not stand to eat chicken again. But as souvenir, I did get one of those buckets.
