I like the idea of being able to say I didn’t want this and want nothing to do with it finacially. But I don’t know if I could seperate myself from my own child. I would want to contribute if I knew the money was going to the child and not buying luxuries for the mother.

I don’t know, these days society seems f~~~ed up to me. I think once a woman has your child there will always be a connection between you, the child and her whether you like it or not. Emotions are a powerful force and the paternal instinct is pretty strong, so I’m told.

Reliable, safe, and REVERSIBLE male contraception is very close to being on the market. It’s being done by a non-profit, so please consider donating.

Basically it’s a polymer gel that blocks the vas deferens so that sperm can’s make it into the seminal fluid. Then when YOU want to have kids, they just flush it out and you’re good to go. Much like a vasectomy, but no snip, and it’s easily reversible at YOUR desired time.

I believe they’re approved for human clinical trials in 2017.

Then you can top it off with this story. Hedge fund guy dates girl for a couple of years. She “accidentally” gets pregnant. He doesn’t want the kid but she does (shocker, right). He offers her $75k to have an abortion. She refuses and is suing him for she and the child to have the lifestyle she was accustomed to as the girlfriend, which would cost him about $5 million.

Why take $75k for yourself when you can have $5 million to split with a kid. And for some reason this guy is an asshole. I’m not sure why, I thought a fetus wasn’t a child………… Did I miss something? 50 million abortions in the US alone since Roe v. Wade, but if the guy wants it somehow he’s skirting his responsibilities as a parent and everyone thinks he’s an asshole. But she wants to have the abortion, well then YOU GO GURL!!!!
