Not sure how many people have seen the new film SICARIO, but it’s definitely a ‘man’s movie’; and worth checking out.
There is a ‘strong’ female character who is a ‘take-charge’ sort in the beginning, but as the film progresses she learns all about how the world really works; especially at the end.
The film has all the elements of dramatic tension to really work and is certainly not a ‘date’ movie – some serious violence and masculine themes…
Not sure if everyone will like it as much as I did, but it deserves a look!

Hell yes, tremendous movie! Great acting, thoughtful screenplay, satisfying ending…

The female is portrayed realistically in that she is knowledgeable of how to fight, but gets f~~~ing wrecked every time she thinks she can take a man (suck s~~~ disney/star wars).

If you enjoyed Sicario, watch “Prisoners” and “Enemy” of the same director… you won’t be disappointed.

Sicario was a great movie. Loved it. I was going to recommend it too but didn’t get around to it.

Reminded me very much of an old school film from the 70’s very gritty and honest. The Female is manipulated throughout and is actually pretty flawed and weak.
