Sometimes I find these unassuming films that outwardly appear to be generic bulls~~~ but are actually a stride in brilliant film-making. Ethan Hawke doesn’t let us down in this film. Ethan Hawke just keeps winning. He is overlooked too often.

Hawke plays the pastor of a 250 year old, small church. The film was well worth the viewing and the $1.75. There are some great Red Pill moments and you see some beautiful screen shots. The character drinks a lot and you can certainly identify with his struggle. This film will speak to you on a spiritual level no matter who you are, whether you are an atheist or a Catholic, you’re going to like this movie.

I do not believe in man-made-global-warming, at least not to a degree that should alarm anyone. I also do not care if the Earth is getting colder or warmer. The film uses elements of that debate to ‘get to you’ and to illustrate the protagonist’s struggle.

This film is good at seeming as if the entire thing really did happen. None of it is beyond belief. Yet, if you watch it, you will be on the edge of your seat by the end.

Anyway, I saw this last night and wanted to recommend it.

I’ll have to check it out. I think the way to make Red Pill types of films now is to be very subtle about it so that people have no idea that they are being hit with “subversive” ideas.

The film also has Amanda Sefried in it, who at one point was quite nice to look at.
