A woman calling a man crazy. Revolutionary…. Listening to them when they rant does somehow cause men to approach madness and start to validate the statement. Tune out of her neurotic behavior and self-activate. Her bird attack noises become a tv left on in an empty room. Then you might be able to see what’s causing her malfunction by what she does after.
-Also, I don’t necessarily recommend this, but when my wife starts accusing, blaming, naming me. I wear those nametags she made for a few minutes to burn her. Last time she went into a drama about how our kids are my slaves, do nothing but chores.(omfg, jk). After quizzing her to be clear that she stood behind her accusation I smacked the table and went into southern drawl. I threw their 1000 pc puzzle off the table and yelled “clean that s~~~ up now slaves! I’m going to look after and there had better not be one f~~~ing piece missing. Chop Chop!” Then I came back to inspect the job, and said “Good job girls, you are my slaves”.
Messed up… but wife is not using the “slave” card anymore after being humiliated with her daughter. She’s onto bigger marital games, and the kids are more cautious about supporting her exaggerations and accusations.
-Summary. Tell her she’s right and that you need a weekend retreat to get your head straight, then go. “Retreat” can be a lot of things. Maybe the treatments don’t work right away either, you might have to go back.
