Faust, you are so right with the abortion comment. One has far, far more chance of being killed by one’s own mother than by a gun.

The patriarchy actually keeps people safe. It keeps young men under control (and they are the ones most likely to do reckless things with guns). If mothers are home they also know what their kids were up to and might be able to exert maternal authority (yes maternal authority does exist under the patriarchy, just not for busy working mums).

Apparently by their definition, the unborn child isn’t a human until………whenever they decide.
