Reminds me of a girl I used to live with in my 20’s.

I realize the most properly-feminist response to all of this would be to proudly declare that I don’t care, that being too old to catcall is glorious freedom. But that would be a lie. I do care in some way that sits uncomfortably with my politics – enough that it worries me to wonder how I’ll feel when I’m 45, or 65.

When I was in my 20s I got catcalled by women. Not a one ever asked me out though. None even really approached me. Occasionally one would walk towards me and ask for the time, or some other inane, stupid question that obviously isn’t going to lead to conversation.

Women suck at everything. They want men to approach and take the burden of conversation with strangers because it’s too hard for them to do. Despite their insistence they have more empathy and are better communicators, I’ve found women are quite bad at reading emotional cues or actually conversing. Probably why there aren’t many, if any, top female negotiators, trial attorneys, etc.
