This is just too sweet. I can’t pick a favorite part.

A Western marriage that survives in the current year is an act of mercy and compassion by the woman.

Jessica Valenti writing a book called “Sex Object” is like a broke & homeless man writing a book called “Success Object” …. where he complains about not being objectified as a sperm donor and human wallet.

The colossal joke without a punchline was just suspended from twitter too.

I will wait for my library to get a copy, and then I won’t read it anyway.

I didn’t read the whole article as I’m hung over from last night’s drunken Soul Bearing on here.

What I found satisfying in the article was the fact that these colledges are turning out thousands of unemployable women who’s only skill is being permanently offended by Men. There just aren’t enough government funded organisations to soak them up. As the ecconomy tightens these Non Jobs will be cut and the Snowflakes will have to earn a living in the real world. Lets see how they handle that! Oh, yes, I forgot, they are unemployable so what they gonna’ do? Hook a Man to pay their bills, be dependent on his income and become living proof of the stupid hypocracy of their beleifs. Bring it on.

I’ve found something that’s more their intellectual level:

Great find, best article I have read all week. Jessica Valenti makes a string of poor life choices and of course it’s all men’s fault. I particularly liked this section on the Feminist Industrial Complex –

“What kind of fool would major in Women’s Studies? The kind of fool who loses her virginity at 14, goes off to Tulane, sleeps with her ex-boyfriend’s roommate, flunks out and then transfers to SUNY-Albany, that’s who.

The only career possible for a Women’s Studies major is as a professional feminist, and there are only so many full-time gigs at non-profit “pro-choice” organizations to go around. However, the Feminist-Industrial Complex — the departments of Women’s Studies on some 700 college and university campuses across the United States — has a rent-seeking interest in promoting the metastatic growth of feminism, so the fact that many of their alumnae are quite nearly unemployable isn’t mentioned in the course catalog.

Feminists complain about the shortage of women in high-tech STEM fields, or in corporate executive positions, and yet continue directing tens of thousands of college girls into the absurd ideological cul-de-sac of Women’s Studies. The dope dealers on campus are engaged in a profitable venture, at least, and don’t demand that taxpayers foot the bill for their evil enterprise.”

Could I ask how thick this book is. I mean in depth not intelligence.

I never knew what a train wreck Jessica Valenti before I saw that jpg as posted by KM. Now, after reading this review, now I really understand how warped Jessica really is! No moral compass, dope head and screaming feminist any human should avoid!

Wow, it’s like reading a life that is a metaphor for a train wreck wrapped in a ship wreck and smothered in a mass shooting.

    This is perfect;
What is “sexism,” you ask? A synonym for anything a feminist doesn’t like

wow, that was awesome! i especially liked the part where the author suggested that drug dealers are more upstanding than campus feminists. that review was like a summary of everything people discuss here… you can almost predict whats going to happen from paragraph to paragraph… what the HELL was her husband thinking when he agreed to marry her? no.. don’t answer that.

I can. This was a comment under the main article. I don’t know that I have ever seen it presented better:

“Honestly, I don’t want to say it’s impossible to get over that kind of past, but Ms. Valenti has two huge obstacles in that regard:

She refuses to acknowledge her past behavior was wrong.
She insists that males are entirely to blame for her unhappiness.

These are related problems, because scapegoating men — pretending she’s a victim of “misogyny,” etc. — functions to exculpate her, relieving her of any responsibility for her own wrongdoing. She cannot confront her own problems without admitting that her feminist ideology is wrong, and because she has dedicated her entire career to feminism — it is her core identity — she thus can’t solve her problems without destroying her sense of who she is. This puts her into an existential dilemma, and her poor husband is forced to pay the price. It’s truly sad.”

I would venture to say that it’s not the catcalling itself that she (they) misses, it’s just a cloaked way of being frustrated that by less catcallers means having less people to control because vagina.

Hook a Man to pay their bills, be dependent on his income and become living proof of the stupid hypocracy of their beleifs.

    Good luck with that.

Just as more and more companies refuse to hire them, more and more men will refuse to marry them.

But that is not our problem.

The really sad part here is that is probably the best picture they could find of the author.

The whole thing is a disjointed piece of junk… Why would you mention the tuition of a place now and then not even reference how much you paid then… what’s the point?

And boohoo where’s my white privilege … really?

And… wait a second. This looks exactly like the fluff crap I used to write for money to promote vacations to places I never went to. Right down to word density repeating the ‘<subject>’ every paragraph and the typical fluff to space out the endless repetition of the same thing over and over again.

I hope Robert got paid 15 bucks per 500 words for this marvelous piece of s~~~ since that’s the only reason I can imagine anyone would write this kind of slop.
