I know a little about gators and have been very close to them. Some were really huge. I did not know that my white privilege was why they quickly slink away every time they see me.

We had an elderly white woman from Montreal visiting her daughter. The idiot was feeding the gators in the lake fronting her daughter’s property. One day, an 8 footer took her life. Her female white privilege did not protect her.

Years back a guy decided to go snorkeling in Lake Marion in South Carolina. They found him about a 1/4 mile away from the boat ramp. Death by gator was the cause. Any splashing will attract them and put them in predator mode. He was not from around here too.

A couple of years ago we had a 13 footer following boats, kayaks and SUPs wanting handouts. These are the dangerous gators. Wild American Alligators are very shy and reclusive animals except when fed by stupid humans whereupon they get an entitlement attitude.
