Feminism aka Me-ism

Just read this article about how the Australian Governments Prime Ministers top adviser, Peter Credlin, is whinging about how hard it is for women in politics.

Someone in the comment section points out she is a “me-ist” and I thought that was such an apt summary of what feminists are all about: themselves.

Oh, here we go.

I do not understand how possibly she thinks she has done anything for women at all?

Marry into power and then prove you are not good at your job is antitheses of this.

If anything she has done the opposite of feminism.

Take responsibility for your own actions for once.

Drink driving that is not gender specific at all. And stop blaming everyone else for it other than where the responsibility really belongs. WITH YOU.

Its really about what far right wingers really think. And Annabel is happily one of them. Me me me.

These far right wing types are all the same. They are not feminists. Nor progressives as they claim to be.

They are me-ists. All the days and nights long.

They seek power, but they don’t want to EARN it, to get it. They want it HANDLED to them.

That’s why there are so many types of feminism. As a matter of fact there are as many types of feminism as there are women on the planet because all feminism is is “me” ism. What I can get, what’s in it for me, f~~~ the rest I want everything handed to me and want to work for nothing.

What is feminism when even men can be “feminists” and protest what societal rules affect them and then wear women’s underwear to the next slut walk, a look they don’t identify as gay because why do they have to, they are feminists and can do anything they want and then label themselves any thing they want.

Sort of like transgender males who, while trying to pass as female still prefer females for sex. Are they gay “females” or is it a new way to game girls into sleeping with them because they are so femi-cool?
