I just don’t see the point of this push towards human emulating robots, driver less cars and AI and all the rest of it.

I can see the point of robotics when they are doing something which humans find dificult like an automotive assembly line for example. They can repeat a task with a high degree of precision without getting tired, bored or needing a break. Great, good for them.

But why do we need robots to do the things humans can already do? It is not as though there is a shortage of poeople on the planet after all.

I suspect it has more to do with creating a new profit making product than it is about satifying an actual need.

Beyond fleshlights and sex dolls they have these things that are basically fleshlights except they’re shaped like an ass and made with realistic material that you can f~~~. To me that’s as extreme as I’d ever care for as far as this whole “synthetic sex” type thing goes. But I’m not judging anyone else if a fembot type thing makes them happy, good for them. Better than having to go through a divorce.
