    First, happy birthday HPL.

Second, f~~~ing feminist’s are trying to wreck Lovecraft.

I don’t mind they write stories with an independent female lead, heck I enjoy that it is a female that goes insane for a change.

But as we all know making it feminist means something completely different.

The female will probably end up using her gender studies degree to kill Dagon.

With something as vast and rich as H.P. Lovecraft’s universe if the only thing you can add is “Vagina” then that’s pretty f~~~ing pathetic. They want to be applauded by swapping the gender of a character. What is that supposed to be genius? Is that supposed to be brilliant? It’s not.

How about something that adds to the mythos in an interesting way? That’s like if I wrote something for his mythos except my story featured a character with a hat. BRILLIANT! No, they wrote a bland story and expect it to stand up because VAGINA. Typical.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

Leave it to the SWG to be against good stories.

    I agree.
The extent of laziness and unimaginative effort of these simpletons is remarkable. How the hell do they manage to get things changed to what they want is beyond me.

I do not believe that people that want a female lead in a HPL style story understand the content of HPL stories.

The main characters of HPL stories usually end up, insane, dead, or worse. With the women tending to fair worse than the men. Even little boys and little girls are not “protected” characters in HPL stories.

It is likely that half of all modern horror porn was at some point inspired by HPL stories.

If you think thats bad , take a look at some Star Trek
fan novels, they have Kirk and Spock f~~~ing each other
and a whole bunch of other nasty s~~~.

Never mind that the original was one of the most groundbreaking ‘inclusive’ series of it’s time,

It still didn’t go far enough for some

The irony here is that Lovecraft was a major anti-feminist.

I hope they don’t f~~~ this up too much. Lots of people were scared about Star Wars 7 but I still enjoyed it. I’m just being optimistic. Perhaps they’ll make a strong female character without ruining everything.

On the other hand, they might ruin everything.

*sigh* I wish there was something I could do about this.

Look on the bright side: The rule 34 for this is going to be epic. A female-led Lovecraftian story would generate enough tentacle hentai to tighten all the trousers in Tokyo.

HP Lovecraft was the grandfather of modern horror stories. He could write in a way that would make a casual Sunday afternoon seem scary. He also was the one to introduce the cosmic horrors. Beings from the beyond that can drive people insane just by looking at such beings. Necromancy. Demon summoning. Very, very dark content.

He and the writer of the original Conan novels were friends. They shared some story ideas with each other.

That being said, HP Lovecraft’s works are also pretty good. I suggest starting with the story, “the Case of Charles Dexter” and go from there.

There’s already fat acceptance feminists in lovecraft.

    They’re called shoggoths.

It was a terrible, indescribable thing vaster than any subway train—a shapeless congeries of protoplasmic bubbles, faintly self-luminous, and with myriads of temporary eyes forming and un-forming as pustules of greenish light all over the tunnel-filling front that bore down upon us, crushing the frantic penguins and slithering over the glistening floor that it and its kind had swept so evilly free of all litter.

Feminists are just like Lovecraftian horrors. They’re so ugly that they cannot be described and their shrieking drives men insane.

They are devoid of creativity so they have to take something a superior creative mind achieved and destroy it. That’s what art has been to the left for decades.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

A long time ago, I realized that feminists are trying to take over the world. I eventually realized that fighting them is pointless and so I adopted a “fiddle as Rome burns” attitude.

Living in the feminist New World Order might be harder than I anticipated. The feminists are not merely taking over the world. They are ruining every story that was once manly. Soon, we won’t be able to think about any of the things we used to like without thinking of feminism.

They’re desperate for us to internalize their worldview … so they tack it onto every fictional world we love rather than just taking over the real world.

Perhaps the postmodern matriarchy will be harsher than I originally anticipated.

Of course, I could just as easily argue that this is another opportunity. It is an opportunity for budding young writers to create new manly epics to replace the old ones. They won’t make much money doing this but they will win the respect of the MGTOW community.

Come to think of it … many of our favorite manly epics are somewhat flawed … but not in the way feminists think. Many old manly epics are poisoned by the lesser aspects of tradcon morality. That’s why the topic of female-on-male abuse is never discussed in those stories. Monk mode is rarely discussed in these stories. Many old “manly” Hollywood movies have a cliche romantic subplot shoehorned in.

In other words, the feminization of modern fiction could be a blessing in disguise. That’s a possibility. This might be an opportunity to make manly epics that are grounded in MGTOW principles, not tradcon principles.

Furthermore, the world still contains some manly movies despite the feminist takeover. I haven’t seen Sausage Party yet but quite a few people have told me that the film is politically incorrect as f~~~. In other words, this film might be a manly story cleverly disguised as a “maturely immature” story about talking food. I’ll never truly know until I see the film.
