After watching it, she and I had a brief conversation.

My response:
This video shows one of the many reasons I never, ever, ever intend to take on a girlfriend or get married. Thanks for the share!

She: It’s just a joke. Don’t take it too seriously

Me: Do you notice how she never said please or thank you? It’s like her boyfriend’s only job was to take her orders.

She: I agree. Many women take advantage of men’s simple and kind nature. I hope you find a very kind, simple, caring girl..

Me: Thanks for your kind wishes, however, I’m not looking for a girl period. I’m actively avoiding girls. It’s not going to happen.

She: Yes, focus on your studies right now. Have a nice day.

Agreed- that’s what I am currently doing and what I intend to keep up. But can you see how she is treating “Focus on your studies” as a temporary delay to marriage? “Focus on your studies right now”- as if in the future things will change?

Well not her per say – she’s my aunt (the person who shared the video with me and who I had the conversation with), so she has zero chance of being with me.

But I agree with your point, and this video reminded me of why I’m so fortunate to be a MGHOW. Thank you and everyone else on this website. Because honestly, if I had not been exposed to the MGTOW movement, I would have laughed at this video and found it endearing.

You are a bit wrong, brother. She is your aunt, so, in future, perhaps if you have a lot of cash (and I think you will, because of your carrer choice), she MAY ask you for “a loan” that most likely will NEVER be paid, because she “feels” that she is “orienting you” now, and for that, she is entitled to ask you to SHARE some of YOUR wealth.

Never forget that even the woman in your FAMILY are hypergamous, entitled, and they see you as property and a mule.

Wow- Didn’t think of it like this. Till now, my entire view had been limited to women outside the family….

I think a good policy to follow is to always insist on collateral before giving a loan. And a collateral that is worth more than the loan itself, and something they like.

For example: $15,000 loan? SURE! Just drive over your BMW and leave it with me. You’ll get it back once the loan is paid back. No- this doesn’t work for you? But if you’re so sure that it’s just a loan, you should be able to pay it back right?

There’s only a limited number of people in this world I’d freely give money to without it being a loan- I’d give to my mom, my dad, and my grandparents. They have spent a ton of me, and have also invested large portions of their lives in raising me. To me, they have an irrevocable claim to my wealth because I’d be nowhere without them. Noone else has this claim though.

No problem, brother. I used to see things the same way you see, but, some things that happened a couple of months ago made me be more aware about this.
My mom tried this s~~~… So, I’ve peeled my eyes even for them, you know?

I agree that parents, be they grandparents or just your parents are allowed to have access to your wealth, but, keep at least one eye open. Even your mom and grandma may ask you a loan for some silly s~~~ that they want, but not need.

I always loan money to my mom and my grandma, BUT I always ASK THEM in WHAT they will be spending MY money… And if no good reason is presented, I don’t lend them the money. That is a “cold” reminder for them to stay the f~~~ away from my pocket if they have no good reason to.

The collateral policy is a really nice method, but, always ask yourself if is the pocket of your aunt or your uncle’s pocket, for example, who is bleeding when they ask you for a loan and give you the car or any other s~~~ as a collateral. It is NOT fair if you lend money to her, but it is HIM who is paying for it in the end.

Our male parents and relatives are more responsible with money, normally. So, to me, if they ask for a loan, I will not ask them to tell me what for, but I always set a deadline for them to pay me back. Always worked.

Who the f~~~ talks like that? I can’t recall any male friend ever doing this.

I remember when I first started dating, my first GF would do this all the time. Even then I knew it was retarded and didn’t put up with any of it. I confronted her about this and she pulled this gaslighting bulls~~~ and said “oh it’s just the way I talk, you took it the wrong way.” Right, I’m the one who took it the wrong way, and you’re right for talking to your BF like a circus monkey, ordering me around. Sure enough, it’s all but a s~~~ test. I then started returning the favor, ordering her around and she got better. I called it quit soon after because I wasn’t going to go down to her nether ape level.

The guy in the video should have just ignored her and get the sandwiches. No, I take that back, should have just dumped the bitch.
