Haven’t been asked about mgtow at work but been asked why I don’t have a girlfriend, said I was simply to busy which is the truth, best to avoid any confrontation at work. You handled it well pretend to not know about mgtow.

Yeah, if I do decide to get a van and go boondocking. If anyone ask me why I don’t have a girlfriend. I can just mention my van and say that “it’s an issue with weight… you see my van is only rated for a specific amount of weight, on top that, the gas milage, I just can’t afford the decrease in gas milage. So, that’s basically why I don’t have a girlfriend.”

I’m sure if I sat down and really thought about it, I could come up with a lot of funny lines related to this. Do you date. Are you seeing anyone. Why are you single, etc.

And yeah, I would presume that it’s probably never a good idea to mention that you’re mgtow, especially to a woman, more especially at work.

I would come up with some generic line, or something funny that gets people laughing. That way they don’t start placing all their beliefs about what mgtow is on to you. Thinking you resent women or whatever. Just not worth the hassel. Plus, if it’s a woman, maybe if she really likes you, she’ll buy you things.

I would play dumb. If a woman is asking that directly, it indicates
1) She knows what mgtow means.
2) She is actively seeking to identify (hunting) men who are subscribers.

You can extrapolate from the rest of their behavior IRL what the 3rd step above is going to be.

When asked why I am not married, my standard response is to indicate that I’m really trying as hard as I can, but just haven’t had success in getting someone to marry me. It doesn’t always work because some people realize that if I wanted to get married, I could. But those who realize I’m bulls~~~ting them go quiet on the subject as soon as I float that explanation. They seem to realize they’re being lied to because they’ve just stuck their nose into something that’s not really any business of theirs.

Usually though, this practiced response is believed and I get the, “Don’t worry. Just keep looking… You’re a good guy… You’ll find someone…” lines of encouragement. That’s when I know I’ve been convincing. I suspect that many of these people go away sorry they asked. They feel as though they’ve accidentally opened some deep emotional wound a d feel guilty for it. For me, this is the best possible option because they don’t bring it up again, and they don’t go away hostile or suspicious of me. I get left alone in peace: Mission accomplished!
