Most my life has been fairly solitary focusing on hobbies and sleep. When I lived with my parents, I sort of expected girls to leave me alone and they did. Later, I decided the military sucked and went back to school in a trade. Shortly after, I was homeowner living in solitude with everything I could ever need. I continued to be in solitude, rarely meeting people in my small town. I continued my hobbies quite happily.

Then I noticed when I was out, people started making the comments about being single and meeting girls. Easily brushed off with humor. I never went out of my way to meet girls but ended up running into some regardless. I was just being polite. And was accustomed to girls ignoring me.

Suddenly these girls are texting me and flirting. I maintained my monk status despite being directly offered easy access. It was tempting even for me. The first girl lived out of state and invited to visit numerous times. Then she even hinted at moving in with me. The red flags just kept getting brighter. I slowed down responding to her and ultimately made up my mind not to take the bait. She later mentioned a new boyfriend which I think was to make me jealous. I told her I was happy for her and meant it. So far the texts have stopped.

The second girl is much more determined. I spent a weekend at my best friends house and his girlfriend had a friend visiting from out of state. We all hung out and had a good time. This girl came onto hard and I was just respectful as usual. She flies back home and my friend admits that he was trying to hook me up. I declined but he said that shes willing anytime. Now shes visiting again and spamming texts even though I am at work. Shes telling me about her dirty dreams with and wanting to sleepover. At first I was tempted but now I’m annoyed and then I had a conspiratorial epiphany which p~~~ed me off.

This girl has three kids and currently engaged. That’s not appealing to me being that I still have conservative values. It could be she just wanted a fling until she started asking about my house and coming to my town. She has spent alot money visiting her friend here and I am now wondering if I could just be a means for her to move here. This possibility extremely p~~~ed me off if true. Is it possible for this seemingly nice girl to have such a selfish ulterior motive?

Shes still texting me and I’ve told her I’m working. I didnt feel like having a 4 hour text conversation again.

It is infuriating to me that a girl can just pick any guy she decides she wants and the guy is typically honored to serve her. Most guys are not me and will take anything.

I made up my mind that I’m being baited and will maintain monk status but I was very tempted. So I can bet it’s extremely harder if not impossible for other guys. Stay vigilant.
