Guys, you are mixing things up.

AWALT refers to female behaviour in intimate relationships. The fact that these women are astronauts does not contradict AWALT. The example given by DeepInThought of one attempting to kill another over some guy is perfect to demonstrate this.

It’s been stated in this thread already but I’ll repeat it.

The concept of AWALT and the ‘NAWALT Unicorn” have nothing to do with a female’s competency or lack thereof in her job, her commitment to her chosen field of endeavor or her ability to consume alcohol. It is 100% about her viability as a meaningful partner in a marriage or other, similar long term relationship.

The “Like That” portion refers to her willingness and ability to lure you into a relationship with promises of sex, happiness and cooperative fulfillment and then turn and rip your guts out and take half your stuff… nothing more. Stating that “All Women Are Like That” is functionally the same as saying “All Grenades Explode”. They are designed that way and even if someone claims to have found a dud once that didn’t, no rational man would reach into a box of live ones and start pulling pins in the hopes of finding one for himself.

When I show respect to the skills and achievements my motorcycle instructor possesses, it has zero to do with her viability as a relationship partner. AWALT still in effect. When I speculate on how women would look and behave IF they actually desired and manifested true economic gender equality, it has zero to do with their viability as relationship partners. AWALT still in effect. If I were to say “This female is an perfect example of feminine beauty and power representing the elevation of the natural abilities of her gender to the highest standards of current evolution.” it would still have zero to do with her viability as a relationship partner. AWALT still in effect.

Your problem is that you have confused the notion that women will naturally destroy men in legally binding relationships given the laws and norms of our culture with the desire to see women as inherently evil and deserving of dehumanizations and demonization.

If you are “sick of hearing people ‘praise’ women” then I would suggest you need to spend less time worrying about what women are doing and what other people are saying about them and more time focusing on making your own life better.
