New TOOL album! Order now bitches.
For those who cant wait. Here is your SPINE TINGLING first sample that will bring tears to your eyes if you’re anything like me. TOOL really is a gift.

The drums are supernatural. The lyrics clean and inspiring. The bass and guitars, distinctly original.

These guys are good. This song’s a bit on the soft side compared to songs they’ve done in the past lol.

    But still… awesome.

If this song is anything like former single releases, the rest of the album is going to blow our socks off.

This song has many layers too. After I listened to it for a few days, maybe up to 20 listens now, its taken on a new sort of heaviness. Im diggin it! Its very TOOL and its rockin no doubt. Perhaps not as heavy as The Pot single was 13 years ago but still.

Im reserving judgement until the full album release. I already know though, based on this sample which is probably one of the more softer tunes on the album, the Fear Inoculum ALBUM is going to rock the building.

When you relisten to this song a few times, its actually pretty knarly and rough, METALish I dare say. TOOL has always had its back bone in Danny Carey’s tribal, multiple beat drumming. Its girthy. I love it. Every member of the band has REAL talent and maturity, that is why I love them. As opposed to bands like Slipknot or Korn which were run by people who clearly couldnt master their instrument and had no business being a musician.

Metalish is not the right word for TOOL.

Theyve been described as Art Rock, Progressive Rock… its pretty fitting.

I like them because they’re CLEAN. Its clean, well planned, written by people who give a damn about quality, form, texture, meaning etc… Its as if they’re building something more than a song.

Other bands show up hungover in a garage each Sunday, one guy is strung on dope, another brutally hungover and the other guy is going through a break-up with his girlfriend… and maybe one guy is is sober and holding the band together.

I dont think TOOL was ever really like that. Maybe some drugs back in their first few albums but nothing like the Rock Star Drug Addict stereo type we see other bands take

TOOL has also maintained incredible wise and useful lyrics. Its pretty much Hymnal Rock! LOL. If you actually read the lyrics for the album Lateralus, its basically a secular Sermon. Same thing with this Fear Inocolum song which message is to inoculate yourself from Fear. Fear is what cause people to harm others.

    Immunity long overdue
    Contagion I exhale you
Lying I opened up to you
    Venom in mania

    Now, contagion I exhale you

The deceiver he says you belong to me
You don’t want to breathe the light of the others
    Fear the light
    Fear the breathe
    Fear the others for eternity
But I hear them now inhale the clarity
Hear the venom, the venom in what you say — inoculated
    Bless this immunity
    Bless this immunity
    Bless this immunity

    Exhale, expel
    Recast my tale
    Weave my allegorical elegy

    Enumerate
    All that I’m to do
    Calculating steps away from you
    My own mitosis
    Growing through delusion from mania

    Exhale, expel
Recast my tale with my allegorical elegy

    Forfeit all control
    You poison
    You spectacle

    Exorcise the spectacle
    Exorcise the malady
    Exorcise the disparate
    Poison for eternity
    Purge me and evacuate
The venom and the fear that binds me

    Unveil now
    Lift away
    I see you running
    Deceiver chased away
    A long time coming

I figured out the problem with this song sounding soft, the Volume dial was turned too low.

I just got my Fear Inoculum special release package Album in the mail.

The Lateralus and 10,000 Days albums Packaging were both totally original and awesome but Fear Inoculum takes the cake.

The Music and the Special Packaging and small HD screen movie are beyond words. What a MAGICAL rock album and gorgeous artwork. They really have outdone themselves. A treasure.

TOOL is the best. LOVE the new album.
