More then the FBI dropped the ball. Florida has several levels of police, add in the social services that did not take action. You have an investigation into someone cutting themselves and talking about wanting to buy a gun and you find nothing wrong?

That is being polite.

Also, unlike then, right now there is a president in office whom has motive to want to fix the FBI and clean house.

The more layers are pealed from this situation, the more it is clear that this person was living on the edge for a long time and being expelled likely was the final straw.

I pity this person. What happened should not have happened and this looks more and more like a case of insanity.

I believe he should be punished and sent to a prison for the insane.

I don’t think they f~~~ed up. I think they saw it as being in their best interests to allow the shooter to proceed, and then use it as an excuse to take people’s guns.

They didn’t investigate reports of a mentally ill man fixing to shoot up a school but they’ll go ahead and gun down an innocent rancher who came in support of his fellow citizens against private land encroachment by the Feds.
