Back in the day, before political correctness and in its early years, they made movies and TV shows sometimes put women in a negative way. What was or is your favorite movie or show that makes women look bad, or accurate?

    Mine:
Married… With Children – Al Bundy is a hero to all men. Marcy D’Arcy and her woman’s club with political correctness was offensive
Home Improvement – Tim The Tool Man Taylor was a man’s man
The Honeymooners – Ralph Kramden would put Alice in her place. Same with Ed Norton
Three Stooges – They loved women, but the first Stooge short was the Woman Haters.
Resident Evil 4 (VG) – It’s a fun game, and the protagonist Leon S. Kennedy said after the first half “ugh, women” in a boat.

I like I Love Lucy, but the problem I had with that is that Ricky would always put up a fight with Lucy, but would often cave in to her constant crying, nagging and playing the “you-don’t-love-me-anymore” card on him whenever she wasn’t getting what she wanted. Other than that, it was a good show.

I didn’t care much for Lord Of the Flies (1990) even though there was not 1 single female. It was basically naked boys trying to survive.

One of my favorites was the Man Show with Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel. They did a skit one time where they set up a booth to get signatures to end “Women’s Suffrage” to prove how stupid woman and feminists were. I couldn’t find a link to it on YouTube but others have repeated the gag with success.

Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.

Unfortunately for a long time most shows have been presenting men as idiots and women as very smart. In the Honeymooners Ralph was a dope with his hair-brained schemes and Norton was a flake. Alice was the sensible one. Remember the life of Riley where Riley was always getting into stupid messes and was rescued by his wife, Peg. On the Simpsons Homer is a stupid selfish idiot and Bart is a f~~~-up, while Marge is smarter and compassionate and Lisa is a genius. In Terms of Engagement both men are stupid and the wife and girlfriend are much smarter and constantly humiliate them.
Tom Selleck said that he is disgusted in how the men in sit-coms are idiots.

In the early Bond films he takes a no nonsense approach to them. Unfortunately as the decades rolled by Bond got more and more watered down. But even in his current form he’s still accused of being a woman hater.

Puppets Who Kill. From time to time an episode explored some bad aspect of women’s behavior.

That’s why I stopped watching the Simpsons years ago. One day I realized how full of crap the show was.

    Porn.

Okay, so it’s not a TV show but it’s still a favorite. Feminists hate it despite the fact it shows the best use for women.

F~~~ em if they can’t take a joke.

Many of the Stooges’ shorts are full of red pill observations. When you’re a kid you watch them because all that slapstick is funny as hell. As you grow older the slapstick is still funny but you catch some of the wordplay and innuendo too. I’m not going to pretend their stuff is in any way intellectual, but, just as with Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes, there is a surprising amount of gags and asides which only adults will understand. They made those shorts from the 1930s through the 1950s and it’s fascinating to see the cultural assumptions change over time.

Women in the Stooges’ shorts are rarely demure, innocent, maidens needing help and assistance. More often than not, they’re screeching harridans, scheming gold diggers, or outright criminals. In one short, three heiresses need a quick marriage to ensure their inheritance. Their lawyer comes up with a plan in which they marry the Stooges, who happen to be on death row. The idea is that the Stooges will be executed immediately after the ceremony allowing the heiresses to inherit the “dough” and then marry their real boyfriends who aren’t available. That’s a pretty nasty story idea for an 18 minute slapstick movie short, don’t you think?

In another short, the Stooges’ newly rich father (played by Curly in the original and Shemp in the remake) is going to marry his gold digging girlfriend so the Stooges break out of jail to break up the ceremony. Little do they know but their father’s girlfriend gangster buddies are planning on killing the groom right after the ceremony. Again a pretty nasty plot.

I suppose the best example of Stooge red pill story telling is the short in which Shemp must marry to inherit $500,000. When Larry asks Shemp why he isn’t married already Shemp says “I know plenty of girls but none of them are interested.” Larry then replies Well, if you look real hard you can find plenty of dames interested in a half million bucks!”

Larry was a wise, wise, man.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Home Improvement – Tim The Tool Man Taylor was a man’s man

I remember an episode of Home Improvement where one of the kids tried to shame Tim for being a hapless idiot on his Tool Time show. Tim responded by telling the kid that the act payed for the roof over your head.

I remember an episode of Home Improvement where one of the kids tried to shame Tim for being a hapless idiot on his Tool Time show. Tim responded by telling the kid that the act payed for the roof over your head.

He tried to ground him for bashing Tool Time, calling it Fool Time.

You have to admit the anti woman jokes were funny. One Tool Time show, he holds up a STOP sign and the joke goes like this: “If a man holds up a STOP signs, it means STOP! If a woman holds up a STOP sign and she designed this thing it would say “If you really knew me, you know what you should do right now.”” It was about women sending out signals that men can’t possibly pick up.

Here’s another one he gives. “Woman need to be married, otherwise, they be a home nagging at themselves.”

I do like how Tim attacks his wife Jill on many things, and she likes to fight him about it. There were so many examples, and I can’t come up with a few more, but it’s still a good show.

Al Bundy from Married… With Children was cool and a hero for all men. He may of lost every political correctness against his bitch neighbor Marcy D’Arcy and her woman’s group, but he fought and fought for his cause. Personally I felt Marcy was an EVIL bitch starting in season 8. She went after everything men enjoy and made everything about woman’s equality. First NO MA’AM episode had Marcy and her woman’s group taking away men’s bowling night from Al and the guys, so the guys went to Jerry Springer the masculine feminist to protest. One episode had Marcy taking Al’s favorite TV show “Psycho Dad” off the air, and her answer to Al’s worry was “today Psycho Dad, tomorrow, everything else that men enjoy.” Another 2-part episode, Marcy and the woman’s group fought for a woman’s right to breast feed in Al’s shoe store because Al told the mother to leave, but the NO MA’AM group tried to counter protest by taking off their shirts and dance. In that show, Marcy and her woman’s group used political correctness to destroy men and gain advantages to themselves. I hated Marcy. Even though Al lost every PC battle Marcy brought onto him, he fought and fought for his rights until the end.

“Everybody Loves Raymond” is another show where the father is a complete social moron and the wife seems to be the only one with any common sense of any type.
This is despite the father’s character being extremely successful in the competitive cut throat world of writing to mass audiences.
One has to be extremely socially savvy to judge and manipulate people’s opinions and feelings to earn any type of living this way.
It doesn’t make sense at any level.
It goes for all the other male characters as well,,,, idiots!.

In the current crop of shows:

    * Longmire

    * Hell on Wheels

There are not a lot of sensitive girly men on these shows and none among the leading men.

Not sure how many people here might be familiar with it, but a classic Canadian ‘man’s show’ was The RED GREEN Show…!

Hold it… It’s “Everybody Loathes Raymond”. I couldn’t stand to watch it after seeing a couple of episodes.

Married with Children and Home Improvement. Also to another extent I would say Supergirl might fit into this category. The show actually has her failing and screwing things up because she is new to being a hero instead of just going the “girl power” route and making her as skilled as Superman in the first episode. On that episode a few weeks ago when she was fighting Reactron and got her ass kicked and Superman showed up to save her my dad was like “great the feminists are going to throw a fit over this probably”.

    Great thread topic,
I’ll think of more for this topic, but one that instantly came to mind is The Room.
Often considered one of the worst movies of all time, with atrocious writing and acting it ended up being so f~~~ing funny and worth the watch.
Oh and the s~~~ the women do in this movie, bad acting and all, portrays the average female 1000x better than most big budget or highly reviewed movies.

here’s the trailer so you gents know what you’re getting into. but I do promise it’s SO BAD IT’S GOOD!

    Great choices all around, brothers.

Like most here, I loathed Everybody loves Raymond too. Thanks to it’s massive number of reruns, I’m starting to hate it a little less. The show definitely changed in both tone and depiction of the characters over it’s run. Early on we saw Ray actually doing his job but by the later seasons it’s barely mentioned. Ray was also more of a passive douche early on only to later morph into the only sane member the entire family. The Debra character definitely became worse as the show progressed, something which amazes me in our current gynocentric culture. I one episode one of the children calls their teacher Mommy by mistake and everyone who hear the story asks “Was the teacher yelling?”

The change in Ray reminds of how Sam Malone on Cheers changed from a relatively normal ex-jock and business owner who did well with women to a pussy-obsessed moron by the show’s end.

Married with Children is on all of our lists, naturally. Sadly, because the show’s premise demanded it, Al could never win and thus he can never truly succeed against Marcy.

I never saw a lot of Home Improvement but I did see one episode which left me scratching my head. Tim hires some guy to install new kitchen counters and his wife’s slot-c starts drooling big time. I don’t remember how far she and the counter guy go, but it’s fairly certain she’s going to f~~~ Hunky McCarpenter. The ending is a cop-out naturally. She’s forgiven – because vagina – and Tim fires the counter top guy before the job is finished. It left me saying “WTF?”

That’s my biggest question concerning shows in the horrific wife-nasty home life genre; why don’t those characters get divorces? The answer, of course, is that they’re TV shows. However, it makes you wonder if it’s not also because they want us to get used to sticking with worthless marriages.

I wonder if a MGTOW sitcom wouldn’t be a huge hit on cable or a subscription service like Netflix? The first season or two would show the hero dealing with his increasingly s~~~ty marriage, slowly waking to the idea of divorce, and then planning for and getting that divorce. The following seasons would show him beginning his new life as a MGHOW and facing all the challenges involved.

Boy would that get the feminists’ panties in a bunch!

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

You stole my thunder i was going to say the same thing about married with children al bundy’s mouth really is a hero to men i love his fat women insults more than anything
Those old tv shows in my opinion are the best way to see just how extream political correctness is today going back to the 90’s isnt even that long ago when we still had some semblance of free speech before the nazi feminist party took over almost completely and did away with all disentors its just amazing to see how much damage the feminist hate group has been able to do to free speech insults and sexisism today are very acceptable but only if its directed toward people the nazi feminist party dont like and that of course is men

    “Everybody Loves Raymond”….

Hold it… It’s “Everybody Loathes Raymond”. I couldn’t stand to watch it after seeing a couple of episodes.

The thing is that Ray Romano was hilarious as a comic character on the animated cable series “Dr. Katz , Professional Therapist”. Before he sold out to mainstream media. My favorite episode was when he came home to his wife who says,” I saw cute girl on the bus. She was just your type and you would have gone for her. You bastard, we have a child”. Poor Ray scratches his head at his crazy bitch he married.
In another episode he says that he likes to pleasure himself in the shower, saying “We men have the gift and we use it”
Another talented comic who sold out to mainstream PC bulls~~~ for a buck.
