Fathers not in home, daughters, and pheromones

Today I was listening on Stefan Molyneux’s YouTube Channel, and he said that if the father is not in the home, the daughter will more likely grow up to engage in sexual promiscuity and possibly criminal behaviour all because the bio-dad’s pheromones are absent.

He was quoting some research.

What do you think about this? And if you have a daughter(s) and maintain contact via custody arrangement, is that enough to have them grow up to become admirable women?

Single mothers raise single mothers and women are readily given to avarice.

Leaving them to their own devices has the expected effect (see: annual crime statistics of children of single mothers); even in a home that is not broken, the father’s presence is not a guarantee — I doubt, almost with certainty of fact, that any post-divorce custody arrangement outside of sole custody of the father would be enough to curb the damage the mother will do.

It’s an interesting thought experiment to consider a pheromone component, but I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder about western sciences’ inability to research and study contextually and connectively, so it doesn’t bear much weight with me.

I suspect it has little, if anything, to do with Dad’s pheromones. Like Jan said: Dads say “NO”, Mothers say “It’s OK honey. Whatever you want, precious.”

Yes, and the mother concerns me. If she is prepared to eliminate the father from the family because she couldn’t get her own way, then this does not bode well for my daughter.

Men generally have one thing women don’t. That is the ability to force their will if push comes to shove. Few daughters are foolish enough to directly defy or challenge their fathers. The know that their bulls~~~ will not be tolerated thus they develop restraint.

I haven’t looked into the science behind lack of pheromones being a huge factor, but all the other biological signals that an at-home, present father provides is imperative. It’s not just his presence alone, though. Terrible fathers can also cause little girls to grow up with emotional problems, just as much as terrible mothers, regardless of the gender of the child. If people say “children are our future,” why the f~~~ do parents put more effort into reading the instruction manual for a new TV than they do for reading the MANY instruction manuals out there for raising children non-aggressively, with reason, curiosity, empathy, and much more?

Because having kids is less about helping to create that future and more about fulfilling their primal urges and meeting social expectation.

Re no capacity for reason. My soon-to-be ex-wife wanted to live in a house with both of her parents (and preferably her extended family) rather than her husband. Insane.
