But only if you’re a man. A chef was insulted by his friend for days and decided to do something about it. I’ll give him credit, he owned up to his shortfalls and fixed the issue that was bothering him.
If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.
IDK-something about a skinny chef doesn’t sit right
Like a doctor or lawyer that drives a s~~~ty car.
Would you hire them? LOL
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
Good article and good on him for losing the weight. Men can be brutally honest with each other and not end the friendship over it. Men are pragmatic, we can tell each other very frankly if with think a mate is drinking too much, is overweight, gambling too much, taking too many risks on the dating scene etc and remain friends. The friendship actually strengthens because of the honesty, rather than a superficial friendship of p~~~ing-in-each-other’s-pockets.
I’ve noticed women are more prone toward cognitive dissonance and will quickly end friendships with honest women, labelling them ‘catty’ and seek refuge with friends who share their exact world-view. An overweight woman will tell herself that big is beautiful, she is just big boned, obese women have great personalities, it’s what’s on the inside that counts, there’s more to love, skinny people can be unhealthy etc. as part of their cognitive dissonance. And watch out any doctor, friend, work-colleague, husband, boyfriend, f~~~-buddy etc that tells her otherwise or they risk a law-suit on the basis of fat-shaming.

I hate this insistence that being fat is healthy. That’s like saying that cancer is healthy. Come on, get in shape. And if you’re not, that’s fine, but don’t be so stupid as to tell people that being fat is healthy when it’s obviously not.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

Men support each other via sarcasm, to lose weight And to gain weight, etc.
Women bring their fat friend along, for “contrast”. They use them.
