Perhaps this will set a precendent. It’s been a long time coming, and is so satisfying to read. Now all is needed is for the term to be doubled to at least 8 years, then handed out routinely, and false rape allegations will all but stop.

In this case, all the judge and jury had to do was look at her to know the allegations against several men were completely false. She’s a f~~~ing monster, lol.

I’d not consciously noticed that, but it must have registered on some level because it resonates with me. Of course, discourses which pathologise women construct them as victims, and therefore minimise their accountability.

It’s very interesting that those discourses originate from male psychiatrists who, it has been argued by the feminist movement, have disempowered women by casting them as passive, irrational, and often limited in agency, yet those same discourses have been exploited by women, and the feminist movement, and used to render women as unaccountable as and when it suits them. If that’s not being an agent of their own narrative, I don’t know what is. But of course, they’re oppressed, so it’s not possible to be agentic, is it?
