Love that movie. There’s a telling moment in the middle – right after he’s publicly pwned Toni Collette for trying to shame him as a pedophile. He starts to walk away and his sister and Toni Collette THEN berate him for not making more effort to fix the child’s problems – as though it’s his responsibility!

Moral of story? Single mum screws up, some man is to blame. Look, there’s a man – it’s his fault.

Just lie to co-workers that you have a girlfriend. Much easier to lie about. Say it’s a long term relationship. No rush for marriage yet. You both are happy blah blah.

But since people are snooping assholes in 2015, explain neither of you have facebook, she is very busy and works for some foreign company you always forget the name of. She travels a lot. Explain you are a very private people.

And NEVER hangout with co-workers outside of work. Always keep them separate no matter how much you like them at work. Stay focused at work. Always be vague and just do the best job you can. Keep the conversations short.
